It does, it's a very risky procedure. It's less risky when going to someone experienced, but doctors that are slightly good refuse to do anything more to her. Solution then is to go to sketchy doctors that only want your sweet moneh. She being alive is a medicinal miracle, actually.

The only good thing to come of these absolute carnival sideshows is that at least they have removed themselves from the gene pool. I do wonder if (a big if) they live into their 80+ years, how will they look back on what they have done/what impact all of this will have on an old, not very stable body.
Very intrigued by what the function of that tubing is. I'm familiar with an inflatable blanket used for treating people with hypothermia called the Bair Hugger, but it only has a single hose which pumps warm air in, which is released through small holes on the surface touching the patient.
