He has most likely gone off the deep end all by himself, but there's also the possibility that he's being influenced by someone or some group that is grifting off of him.
Over-the-hill men in their 40s to 50s in dead end positions are prime targets for certain types of political grifters.

And he did do some fun comics in the past, writing interesting stories and creating characters people loved. The problem is that side of Sinfest stopped being important to him and the political sperging took over. Which is a shame, he still has talent, it just isn't important to him.
This must not be his full time job because otherwise I have no idea how he's able to make money with Sinfest the way it is now unless a bunch of conservatives really are propping him up.

I'm pretty sure Tats is just doing his own wild thing. I think he hard pivots on toi many issues for their to be much of a coherent political thought. He used to be the uber feminist, and now he's super anti-Jew. I think he just gets a bug up his ass about something and throws it into his comic as much as he can.

The thing that elevates Sinfest above your run of the mill crazy webcomic is that the author actually knew how to draw and create comics before he went off the deep end. You can see this not just in the art, but also in the composition; Tats knows how to place speech bubbles, he knows timing, etc.

Tats may now be in the Dissident Right but he clearly isn't part of any faction of it. He's 100% rocking his own thing on his own.
He recently made fun of that Captive Dreamer guy, so he clearly isn't in the BAP sphere. And it's obvious that Tats still holds onto to his Feminist beliefs. Notice how he never actually made a comic that denounces Feminism or any of the usual 'women hate' talking points ("we should KILL & RAPE ALL FOIDS!"). He also made a comic making fun of Andrew Tate back in Feb when by that point he became antisemitic and is embraced by the likes of Fuentes. At most, he'll say Radical Feminism was co-opted by the Jews but will never hate the concept of Feminism. So he can't be a Groyper either.
Overall, Tats' beliefs boils down into being anti-MAGA (because he's extremely deep in the JQ), anti-religion/Christian, and is still vaguely a Feminist.
There really isn't anyone or any community I can think of who holds such beliefs who could wield some sort of Idea Guys type manipulation on Tats unless its someone he knows personally IRL. And why would he have any Idea Guys type manipulators? He's not gullible enough to buy Steam gift cards and show them the codes, and it's not like his comic makes that much money either. If anything, his own vague loyalty to Feminism and anti-Christianity is what is holding him back from making even more money because if it weren't for that he could be seen as something more than a wannabe Stonetoss at this point.
So, I'm leaning into the fact that Tats has such a unique personality political pipeline that he should actually be the topic of some kind of research paper in a psychology class.

I can only describe the comic as wanting to have its cake and eat it. It's in the future, the protagonist is the only sane man in a world gone crazy, typical corpo = bad message, etc. But it's babby's first sci fi adventure and it shows.
The art is good, pleasant to look at but that's probably why Campos' had nothing to do with it. The script is just boring, a first draft if only her editor told her she can't have her cake and eat it too.
Here's the details of her world just from chapter 1: we live in some sort of corporate playground where the city is clean, runs very efficiently, everyone is employed, etc. The dystopian part is that everyone works 16 hour shifts because they don't sleep. It's the future so everyone is hopped on chems/implants that make them work insane hours. The main character has a condition where he can't participate in this society so he has a token paper pushing job where he "only" works 8 hours (ha-ha, get it? corpos bad).
Here's where the satire falls appart because Campos' has never worked a real job (yeah, even in the corporate world there are some jobs required by law for the company to work, 80/20 rule, you know?). The main character's job, before being a pet retard, was stapling papers. Then he went berserk because his co-worker's job was to unstaple them. He has been transferred to staple papers somewhere with a 3 hour commute.
Ok, why doesn't he move closer? That's never explained.
What I hate about the main character is that he's...the main character. He has to do a job he doesn't like, he's an outsider in this society (which we are told is baaaaaaad, maaaaan), he can quote kafka and the mouse utopia experiment (just to show us how smart he is compared to the other characters), he can drop the motherfucking whedonesque quips (I know this is 2011 but I have Marvel exhaustion) and he is the only one that can see through the facade.
In other words? He's boring. He's MC-kun in Isekai-land.
Also? Apparently there's lovecraftian horrors and the void coming in that MegaCorp wants to supress. So we have, cyberpunk dystopia, eldricht horror and Buffy the Vampire Slayer all done by a writer who doesn't even know how jobs operate. She doesn't have the writing chops to make a sci-fi world or to make a critique of corporate life and it would be a waste of time to continue reading it.
For a palate cleanser, there was a fun indie game "Yuppie Psycho" where the first half can do a Corpo life critique but kind of fell appart in the second half. Scott Ross made a video about it:
And regarding tats...shit, man I don't know what to tell you. 13 years ago he was being ripped in half by Shittywebcomics for being a pussy whipped male feminist but in a decade he outlasted them and left them in the dust simply by not giving up. Seriously, I don't know if it's genetic but his inability to give up reminds me of JIA officials stranded on abandoned island that continued fighting the war even in the 50's and 60's.

He still can draw and write, he just has uniquely crazy opinions. Even his version of anti-Semitism is unique to him. That's why I can't really just dismiss it as a "bad" webcomic. It's always interesting even if it's very high on the schizo scale.
His positions may be bizarre, self-contradictory and sometimes incoherent, but they're entirely his. He's not following anyone.

I dunno...I have been quietly keeping tabs and certain parts of the schizophrenic Snow White arc struck me as suspiciously familiar.
I mean the obsessive seething about the evils and Jewishness and evil Jewishnesss of Christianity as well was ever louder whacking off about the extremely generic and pop culture derived glories of the Norse pantheon as being the true faith of all white people/pop culture derived depictions of medieval germany as the true culture of all white people are not exactly rare, nor was his snarling about currentyear fast food franchises defiling some Renaissance Faire interpretation of Medieval Taverns n shit, but combined with him fully throwing any vestige of radfem shit away in having Aryan snow white be a mindless whore redeemed by the noble Aryan prince and demoted to meekly handing out drinks and snacks for him and the White dwarves who did all the actual fighting against das juden and das goyim unlike his previous arcs and the explicitly Black Metal inspired dwarfs and I suddenly realised that I had seen all of these factors (and more still that appeared in that arc) in the same place only once before.....
