Failure to appear in this case would be a misdemeanor, but I'm going to take the judge at his word that he's not issuing the warrant as a punitive measure. I think with Baked not being there for either hearing today the judge wants to play it safe and make sure he shows up on the 22nd. It's not likely, if they get him in on the 22nd, that the judge will allow FTA charges to go forward. Now if he doesn't show for the 22nd hearing he'll probably be fucked six ways til Sunday.

Yeah, it's dumb af not to appear. Unless you had a reason like being in the hospital unconscious or already being locked up and it gets cleared up in your favor, that shit will follow you around for life. The courts will forever treat you like you're gonna go on the run every time you deal with them. It'll make every future bail higher and harder to get, cost you a chance for house arrest, as well as effect your classification for what type of place you get sent to when you are locked up. It could also effect chances of early release and parole.
