I don't mind the number of African/Asian looking humans in the game, it's fantasy not history. But even I'm frustrated how few traditional dwarves there are. Dwarves/Elves already have their own diverse 'subraces', so they cram all the diversity into the most human-looking shield dwarves. Hence getting far more Gary Colemans than Gimlis

As for the number of LGBTs, It actually comes off as homophobic in a way.

• The ironhand Gnomes only showed same sex relationships, and with one exception, were hateful terrorists.

Yeah, there's definitely believable ways to do it, with logical reasoning. It's also just easier to do for races in general, but it's tough to justify why everyone is a horny degenerate. In a porn game you wouldn't ask these questions, but this is ostensibly a "normal" one.

I always point to Skyrim as doing it well. There are some niggers in Skyrim but each one is explained, and that setting doesn't treat them like they're just nords but happen to have a massive amount of Melanin for no reason.

What faggots always get hung up on is not there being racial diversity in fantasy settings, people don't like it when it is retarded and makes no sense, because the goal is erasure and not genuine diversity.

A nigger in fantasy slavland should have an intriguing backstory, a culture he hails from and reasons to be there, all fun things to explore. But it is easier and gets you more ESG if you just pretend Europeans always had random nigger genetics for some reason, even in villages of <30 people.

Baldur's Gate is solid gameplay wise. I had fun. First time in a game like this. I rolled mage so all the mechanics I could explore on top of magic itself was near overwhelming. Awesome.

World building is stellar. I read and explored. Every character has depth. Conversation choices had weight to them. Much appreciated.

Then DEI comes to sour this savory experience.

Character creation and I am confused if my person will be identified as male despite having a male body.

All female companions are warriors and strong in spirit.

All male companions are mages / rogue and weak in spirit.

Everyone wants to have sex with me.

They bothered animating the sex ????

Morals and honor do not exist beyond pantomiming.

It was upon leaving the Druid Village and thoroughly discussing issues with every NPC I came to the conclusion - This quest is easier if I kill everyone instead. I felt no attachment to the characters or places I visited. I persisted regardless as a good boy. I was not rewarded.

Be a murder hobo. Fuck the lore you can rob the libraries after you purge the villages. People lie but bloody journals tell the truth always. You do not need companions you have hirlings.

Oh i remember this game, i was in fact looking forward to it. Then the review dropped with all its fake diversity, black tokenism, ugly womans and all the faggot npc try to bang you, when you played as male character. As that was not enough the bear sex scene happen, haha so funny, NOT.. That was the final nail in the coffin for this woke garbage, the game can have the best gameplay ever. But i am not gonna give these deranged developers money for their perverted degeneracy. I will not even bother to pirate it or mod it, this one goes straight into the trashcan.
