So to summarize, a&h thread about the_dobald Reddit quarantine merged with community watch thread. Discussion of said quarantine is declared off topic by different mod in community watch thread. So with that clarified, I remade the a&h thread, which has now been merged with... The community watch thread.

I think that it is a difficult task to try and paint the moving of a news story to a content thread as mod censorship. The mods who had done this (and unless I am mistaken, it appears to have been two) took a news story that is pretty central to the discussion of the thread and moved it to the thread. What would be the other option? To leave it and to end up with redundant discussion where the news story is discussed both in the content thread and the off-topic thread? I would say that you should just talk about the issue in-thread, but it seems like you got yourself banned from the thread not too long ago. I am typically of the opinion that when there is a news story on something we have a thread on that the news story should be rolled into the thread unless the story and the cow/community are only minimally related. In this case I can see why it would be moved to the donald comm watch. That the position taken on this issue is "ree censorship" when discussion is not stifled, only moved to the appropriate venue sort of exposes some irony. Either way, just calm down and see about getting unbanned from the thread.

Dude, that's how we got here. It was moved from a&h to community watch, where discussion of the quarantine was declared off limits (this is what I was threadbanned from, for being off topic. See feline's comment on that above.

So right now there is nowhere on KF we are allowed to talk about the quarantine of The_Donald. You are basically telling me to talk about it in the community watch thread. But we have established that's actually no allowed.

I don't know what the reason is, it probably is a big dumb misunderstanding but right now it's this catch 22.

I think that task becomes a lot easier when another mod argues that there shouldn't be certain kinds of discussion in the content thread. Take a look at what @Feline Darkmage said above.

Keep in mind, we tried having that discussion in the new venue. I was threadbanned for being off topic for talking about the quarantine in the community watch thread.

As much fun as I have painting this kind of shit as deliberate censorship, in this case it appears to be garden variety beurocracy. But it'd be nice if you could discuss that shit with each other, because the 3 mods that have commented so far weren't really aware of the actions of the other mods. Mod 1 says go talk about this shit in community watch. Mod 2 says no talking about that shit in community watch. Mod 3 says "why did you make an a&h thread, go talk about this shit in community watch!'
