Is that Donruss '90 Commissioner card real?

I remember going to Kmart to buy old Donruss cards in cellophane years late.

I don't really remember any cards with league officials, managers, coaches, umpires, etc though.

I also remember the colloquial opinion on the schoolyard was that Donruss was the shittiest and least valuable baseball card brand of the time.
It is, and I have that card.

Yeah Donruss were the junkiest of junk wax.
Manager cards were common, and coaches and umpires cards exist along with a few for officials. Bart had a Topps and Score that year too.

I'm sure you all want a Rob Manfred card, his only card is a 2017 Topps Archives

There's been an interesting vibe change in the Blue Jays peanut gallery over Vlad's walk year.

Everyone lost their minds a few weeks ago when ST camp started and Guerrero Jr announced that his self-imposed negotiation deadline had passed and he was going to FA.

There was much garment rending to fire the FO and how the Dome would be empty and the team would be doomed to eternal rebuilding.

Then David Ortiz leaked that VGJ was seeking 13/585, later confirmed by Vlad himself last week.

Now even the Redditors seem to have accepted that Vlad's demands were delulu. Things are suddenly more sane instead of stacks of NPCs typing "PAY THE MAN!!!"

Here is a rant about baseball and how my local team is broadcasting 22/162 games ota/free:

Baseball will not grow unless MLB does what the NFL does on Sundays; ie your local team gets televised no matter what.

I can make the assumption that it isn't feasible to broadcast all 162 games ota. How is it that Basketball & Hockey can broadcast 82 games (68-75 being free/ota) but baseball can only do 22?

There is literally NOTHING aired during June - August on during the week but especially Friday through Sunday. The Rangers play 27 Friday games. 27 Saturday games. 27 Sunday Games. That's 81 total games. Yet only 22 games are televised for free.

Breaking it down to home/away for Friday-Sunday - 14 series' are home 42 games while 13 series' are away 39 games. BTW those 42 games break down to 14 Fridays - Sundays. CW airs 15 Friday night games (10 home & 5 away) but Fox only airs 4 Saturday games. No one locally airs Sunday games but Roku airs 2 games.

With ESPN opting out of their contract MLB can move into the NFL model - Your local teams gets televised local every weekend.

Otherwise viewership will continue to not be good for "America's Past time".

ps) Rangers have taken the first step of increasing viewership via Victory+ but took 2 steps backwards with the CW package/RSN (Rangers Sports Network) package)
pps) Now if only Victory+ sets up a monthly pass for us poorer fans.

Hi, welcome to the internet I see you're new here. Every game is free here on the internet if you know where to go.

My complaint about the random games on other services and networks is you miss your team's announcers.

Good evening Saars and Mams, Indians have been a hot topic recently, so I thought I would highlight the FIRST Major League player of Indian descent (half black), Kumar Rocker.

Kumar Rocker of the Texas Rangers is a RHP and the Prospect that has interested me the most. He debuted as a starter last year late in the season during the Garbage Time of the season and was pretty good. Unfortunately, he has had an abysmal spring so far going into the game tonight with a 2 IP total out of 2 starts with a 36.00 ERA. Tonight's game against the Padres would be the first time he would pitch on television, so I did the needful and watched him. Would he REDEEM himself and pitch well, or continue to SCAM the Rangers out of a pitching spot.

Not only did he dome Fernando Tatis Jr. (Based) but he also gave a homerun to motherfucking Luis Arraez.

He ended the night with 2.1 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 2 K. Not good, but technically an improvement. Will Kumar Rocker ascend to enlightenment and become the greatest pitcher of all time? Should he have stuck with Cricket? Will he be hired into the Texas Rangers customer service division? Only time will tell. (Probably not the first one, but I still have hope.)

So he's a combination of 2 things that I hate with a passion: niggers and shitskin poos.

We'll see. Seemingly "generationally great" pitchers come and go, especially with how often these guys get injured. If he can put together more than 2-3 Cy Young contender caliber seasons then I'll start to pay attention.

TIGERS vs DODGERS
PIRATES vs MIAMI
must watch for those pitchers. after today they'll have noodle for arms

It’s been years since I’ve watched a game. Especially a Braves one.
It used to air on TBS in my area, but I don’t have traditional TV anymore and it seems like it’s a pain in the ass to watch the afternoon game today.
piracy is not hard though?

It’s not. I’ve found some places to stream it on my phone.
Currently I’m listening to a radio broadcast for the Braves vs the Padres.
I’m not tech savvy enough to pirate it onto my TV though.

My grandparents like to watch the games as well and they’re even more technologically dumb. I just learned that the FOX affiliate channel here will be airing 15 Braves games this season though.
