These niggas who put the runner on second rule for extra innings should kill themselves. How can you not love extra inning baseball?
 
Shohei, you have a bunch of retarded Venezuelans able to choke out acceptable levels of English, how are you still needing an interpreter. I know going from Japanese to English is a different beast than Spanish to English but I also know you guys learn English from a young age in school over in Japan.

Manfred should be thrown off a rooftop for that along with the universal DH. Slap in the face to the sport. The pitch clock is fine though. Watching old games really make you realize how much pitchers and batters started to dawdle in the modern Era. You dont need to restrap your fucking gloves after every pitch.

Ohtani alone is responsible for raising the valuation of every single fucking team due to how much coverage Baseball is getting as a whole.

Considering how retarded the US press is, and how quickly they will jump on any kind of mis-speak to dust up controversy to get eyes on newspapers, TV and websites, that's actually a good idea. That is what I suspect Shohei is doing as well, but I do take offense to his publicly stated reason. He's not playing in Japan anymore. Try to be more ingratiating to those that are paying for your services.... Jap.

Do you understand that it’s actually Japan that’s paying for pretty much the entire roster as well as all of the stadium renovations and whatever the fuck else expenses that the franchise has ?

The amount of licensing and promotional deals that the Dodgers have with Japan is so vast that the Ohtani deal was paid back in Year 1.

Guggenheim kikes are pissing themselves laughing over how much ROI this investment has earned.

So no, he’s going to keep speaking in Japanese and you’re going to deal with it.

Let’s not pretend that you wouldn’t be damn near wearing the Imperial Japanese Flag around your forehead every game had Ohtani signed with the Phillies.

Didn't know that. He's still playing in the US, and it's mostly US citizens that are filling the seats at Dodger Stadium (and probably a shitload of illegal wetbacks too), so why not throw those folks a bone?

I don't have a hard on for Japanese players, so no. I'll repeat, I believe he probably can speak English at some level, but uses an interpreter to keep a shield between him and the profoundly brain-damaged US sports press. I happen to think it's a pretty slick move. I have no objections to that. I do take slight offense that he seems to be giving short shrift to the American, English speaking people that watch the games on TV and show up to the park and watch the games (their money is going into someone's pocket). I also find it mildly amusing that you get testy when Shohei-kun gets criticized.

How about we agree to disagree on this one and get back to more mutual ground...our hatred of niggers, whattya say?
 
It's hard to encapsulate the rollercoaster ride of emotions that we went through while watching that game. I can remember feeling that Dave was punting the game when Kershaw was sent out there to try and salvage a bases loaded situation deep into extra innings. Somehow he made it out of there, whereupon the legend of Will Klein started.

Nothing like watching a good old country boy run out there and keep throwing until his arm would fall off. I was really impressed with his previous outing because he showed excellent control and velocity. With relief pitchers, you know that it's a ticking time bomb of when their spray pattern goes awry...but the country boy just kept staying in there and getting himself out of jams. An incredible effort.

My worst fear of Glasnow not being able to put in a quality start unfortunately materialized. Again, with Glasnow and Snell, these guys just walk too many hitters for my liking. Against nigger league tier players who swing at bullshit way out of the zone, they look good, but against real teams they can really struggle. Today was an example of that.

Shohei was fucking locked in. I always look for not only how much he's pressing on swings but specifically if he's looking to hit the ball to the opposite field. He did that twice today and it really puts opposing pitchers in a bind because even if you try to go away from him, he's got the reach and power to get to those pitches. 9 times on base ? 4 extra base hits including 2 homers ? Yeah, it'll be decades before we can truly appreciate just how incredible he is.

Of course, I'm now genuinely afraid of how his start tomorrow will go. He has to be absolutely gassed and his strictly controlled routine (especially before pitching days) went out the fucking window because of that 7 hour marathon. I just hope that he can recover enough to be effective tomorrow. Even without Springer, this Toronto lineup is disciplined and doesn't swing at bullshit. He'll need to maintain control and hopefully the Dodgers can defend well enough for him to stay in there for 5 or 6 innings.

How about Yamamoto ? Dude is a God-damned warrior...2 days (and 1 international flight back to Cali) removed from pitching a complete game, he volunteers to go into the bullpen and get on the mound ? This is one of the most legendary motherfuckers on the planet, BAH GAWD (Jim Ross voice). That 326 million or whatever is looking like a real bargain, especially with this kind of warrior spirit that he shows.

Everything is still in the balance because once again, Toronto is a really tough outing for any team (especially the Dodgers). Hoping for the best.
