I thought this Clase nigger was supposed to be the best closer in the MLB or some shit.

Why is he getting his shit pushed in and losing the game for the Indians ?

They deserve better than for some nigger who can’t play well under pressure to fuck up such a galant comeback.
tfw the Rangers actually won the Clase trade with their one inning of Corey Kluber...

I jest, but in all seriousness Clase is actually terrible right now. If I was a coach I would not have put him in the 9th after last night, they certainly have learned their lesson now. Arguably the Judge Homer was a good pitch that Aaron judge just played well against, but he gave up 2 hits right after that so he obviously has been cooked since he gave up the HR in the Tigers series. Dude was regular season monster too, oh well.

There's been a trend for a few years of Dominicans who throw absolute heat or as my one friend says "bricks". The issue is when they don't locate or teams who watch tape can hit them it all falls apart.

Had no mets hat so had to improvise

You just described Carlos Marmol to a tee. Clase's downfall seems too eerily similar to Byung-Hyun Kim's downfall which the Yankees started in the 2001 World Series.

Hell of a relay throw in the 1st inning to keep the Yankees off the board. I don't know about the decision to send Gleyber Torres.

THEY PUT CLASE BACK IN. WHAT. THE. FUCK.

Ok it worked out, but man I don't think I can trust Clase with anything until next year. I was sweating since the first pitch.

I don't know why he kept throwing Soto strikes, he had 2 balls to work with and he was fouling everything, try to get some chase or something idk. Oh well, just another year for Cleveland. Hopefully the fans are used to it by now.

So aside from the yankees and dodgers, what else is going to be terrible about this world series? Seriously?
It'll probably be a fantastic series, but the constant throating that Ohtani and (to a lesser degree) Judge will receive will be nauseating to listen to by about halfway through Game 2.

I'll make a few random observations.

I feel terrible for Indians' fans. I really think that they had a great chance against the Yankees but they lost winnable games and sequences due to a combination of incompetence and bad luck.

Why the fuck did they ever give Clase a shot to fuck shit up in high leverage situations ? The Yanks have historically been great against him and this is something that the Indians' manager should have had more foresight on. Then they double down on that fuck up because they want to give the nigger a shot at redemption.

I give Dave Roberts and the Dodgers' staff a lot of shit because of how reliant they are on analytics (which I generally hate) but they do generally a decent job of not putting their pitchers in bad situation.

Which brings me to the fucking travesty that went down in Game 5 against the Mets. You simply cannot play to not lose. You have to play to win and why they let Flaherty stay in after he had given up 3 runs is beyond me. What's even worse ? Roberts effectively waving the white flag when they were down 5-1.

This is the motherfucking playoffs. Crazier shit than the Mets winning 2 games in LA have happened for literally 100 years. You cannot ever NOT go for the jugular because you're trying to be a schemer.

Why ? Because the Indians thought that putting in the alleged best closer in the game was a no brainer and he was responsible for 2 losses in the ALCS. That's how fucking crazy and chaotic this sport is.

I'm pulling for a Subway Series to be honest
When my team gets eliminated I become a professional hater, and I 100% want the Mets to win it all because it would cause great amounts of Dodgers, Yankees, and Phillies seethe, and maybe Braves but to a lesser extent.

If the Mets don't make it I don't know who to root for because either way it's going to have seethe but also insufferable arrogance. I view a Yankees loss as an immediate seethe payout, because they would have missed a WS win AGAIN and will probably lose Soto, and I view a Dodgers loss as a risky seethe investment. If the Dodgers lose in the WS the seethe won't be as strong as a Yankees loss because they still have NINE years of Ohtani, and the probability they don't make the WS again in those nine years is slim, but if they can't win it all next year, and the year after that and so on, the seethe will bubble and brew with the potential of a seethe explosion once they start getting towards the end of the Ohtani contract.

I honestly can't decide between Yankees and Dodgers if it comes to that (which it probably will) so I will probably just have to bet money on it so I give a shit about the result because I seriously would just want both teams to lose so badly.

I'm a Mets fan, but I've really developed a lot of respect for the Phillies over the past few years, mostly because I absolutely love Kyle Schwarber and Zack Wheeler. Also because both teams typically play at the same level of intensity and never bore me.

Just wanted to commiserate. I'd rather see the Mets or Phillies playing the Yankees. I have no interest in the Dodgers, even if a Yankees-Dodgers WS would be the best outcome for MLB itself.

edit: why's he spell it with a K?

Do what I do.

Go with the team that has less niggers.
