Dodgers finish their series in Toronto, winning 2 of the 3 games. Blowout win in the first game, comfortable win in the second, bullpen blows it in the third which sucked but shit happens. Still, I'll take 2 out of 3 on the road in a very hostile environment every time.

Leave to my Royals to come out with the most hideous, abominable faggotpunk City Connects since that whole cursed fad started.

The Texas Rangers are officially leading the American League West after the Houston Astros got swept by the Colorado Rockies, leaving them with a meme record of 6 wins and 7 losses. I'm feeling good about my Rangers this year.

I watched the MLB channel clip of Bogaerts walking it off with a grand slam and felt like I was losing my mind when I saw Tatis bunt a runner from 2nd to third, and the Rockies intentionally walk Merrill and Machado (two clean-up hitters) for Bogaerts (another clean-up hitter).

They should kill both of their managers as sacrifices in a ritual to seal the Dodgers and maybe the Padres can actually get to the NLCS.

Why are teams still doing this? Billy Bean is dead. They don't have to keep pushing this HIV+ bullshit...
Even without HIV+ bullshit, it's to keep selling merch and not lose money on contracts with apparel suppliers.

I wouldn't be opposed to City Connects if they didn't look like beer league softball jerseys ordered from Amazon.

Yeah, and they would sell a hell of a lot more if they would figure out what fans actually want.

My Mariners have an OK City Connect, aside from the retarded black sleeves, black pants jumpsuit thing they're all doing. But the smartest thing the organization did with the uniform was resurrect the Trident logo cap from the 80's, which everyone loves. It convinced half the fanbase to buy a new $50 New Era cap the day as it was introduced.

I hate the Red Sox city connect jerseys. Last years and this years. And next years. Idc what the retarded excuse for them are, that some high school for the fiscally disabled in the southwest suburbs of Boston wears yellow and powder blue or whatever the fuck. I'm a stickler for tradition and looking for new ways to monetize yourselves (sleeve sponsorships are sacrilege in this household) and nickel and dime fans is super lame and gay to me. And it's not even like John Henry's malnourished visage spends the money on top free agents after putting the monster energy logo on the Green Monster or charging a mortgage for a hotdog.

I just wanted to complain about our ownership and this was a good excuse, thanks. :)

Stoppable Force vs Movable Object tonight as Houston, the worst pitching staff in Baseball plays Seattle, the worst offense in baseball. Also an Unstoppable force vs Immovable object as Houston has the best offense in baseball after firing their hitting coach and learning to take a walk and Seattle still has a lights-out pitching staff.

Edit: Tatsuya Imai gives up 3 in the first, the Astros Pitching Magic has officially run out.

Speaking of the Red Sox, I know this is late but Fenway Park put out a video prior to the Red Sox first home game of the season. It depicted an opening day from the 1950's. Needless to say, they had to shut off the comments because a lot of people were doing some noticing...
