Back when he was fun to mess with, he used to be able to afford to live in a house near the beachfront in Daytona Beach. When he tried to leave the little trihard niche he carved out for himself and become a normie youtuber, he had to move back in with his mom and try to get a job. He could have had it all, and all it would have cost him was what remains of his hairline.

He lost his hairline anyways, but I digress. Dwane I think his move to try and become a normie streamer occurred after his permaban from Twitch. Before then Dwane was aiming to become a regular streamer but he still had the edge and tolerated the trolls with the fake rages and bans in order to try and keep himself on the platform. After that I think Dwane became depressed and believed that even if he still tried to act like a normal streamer his community would still get him banned and tried to do everything he could to distance himself away from the trihard community which is when the infamous moments like the "Shit on the doorstep" and eventually his doxxing occurred. Honestly I think the community would have died earlier after Dwane's Twitch ban if BT had not been discovered and the Coronavirus bringing a bunch of new people into the community, but then again I think someone else could have also ended up taking BT's place if it wasn't him.

Nah the community is still fairly strong. Not what it used to be, of course. A lot of the old guard are still active and the activity has moved into the Jim Melon, Dale Glenn and CCP Thug legions. The biggest difference is there are no reliable streamers to flock around like there was with Ice Poseidon, Bathrobe Dwane, Monkynoises, and others. So they just jump around random streamers and don't leave much impact. The current meta is trolling courts over zoom.

I think the problem with finding a reliable streamer is that Twitch has become so censored, especially after that #twitchdobetter bullshit that it's become hard to become a reliable streamer, especially with the fact that streamers can get banned for the videos and music and all the other stuff getting spammed if they don't extremely overreact to it. Kick has a little more leeway in this but it's still not that great, and most streamers aren't willing to go to the other much smaller streaming platforms like Vaughn, Bitwave and DLive the way BT was able to. I'd say that last streamer who was at least somewhat reliable was Hickerson before he ran off, and he wasn't reliable for that long.

He posts on snapcant pretty often of him getting fucked up and going to metal concerts. But honestly without the TriHard community keeping him afloat, hes kinda just a boring streamer he ruins his legacy even more every time he presses go live.

He doesn’t even stream anymore, just instagram stuff and the occasional video. He went from being a troll himself who was a Twitch mod to being a trihard streamer who got regularly trolled to this. I don’t think anyone in 2018 would have ever seen Dwane turn out like this.
