The game desperately needs strategems and resource float to make the battle more than just "spawn in and rush objective".
Isn't that the point of Battlefield? PTFO (play the fucking objective.) Otherwise, just play Call of Duty. At least that's what people tell me in comms.

Please, just make BF4 again. It's that simple guys.

Here's the official multiplayer reveal. (Includes optional in-game purchases.)

The year is 2027. Major European countries have left NATO, leading the United States and other countries with private militaries in the brink of war. Does that mean factions are returning?

So Levoultion is now "tactical destruction," similar to Rainbow Six Siege.
Edit: I don't care how shiny the mp trailer is, I'm not sold until Day 1 shows if the game is playable.
I like how the stage surrounds the audience.

I don't know if I like assault losing med kits in favor of an extra primary, and support getting the med kits.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't remember assault having med kits. Battlefield V, maybe, but each class had a set amount of self med kits.

9 maps on launch (including a remaster of Operation Firestorm from BF3).
Portal returns, but I haven’t heard details yet.
Edit: it appears portal includes a map/asset editor, with what I think is full XP gain on it from what they were saying. The map they showed for it was Downtown from Hardline I think.

Nine maps at launch with an updated Portal mode to customize existing maps. Think Forge from Halo. I could've swore I saw a flying tank. Now they're showing a sneak peek of the campaign.

This looks surprisingly good and fun. I haven’t played Battlefield since BF3 Beta. I’m wondering if this mode has been in previous BF.

Mystery meat protag, CIA girlboss screeching overdramatic exposition. Looks like SP is a hard pass. FPS "content creators" disgust me so ill wait for the open beta to check it out.

Man said "looks like a firestorm." We all know what he's talking about. Oh, they said "back to their roots."

I like what I saw with the modern military setting. 2027 is modern warfare, I feel old. Brooklyn and Egypt looks like great maps to play with their contrasting urban settings. I may not be able to play the first or second beta (unless it could be streamed,) I hope to catch the third one.

Yeah. I remember playing the first game at a lan party along with the Star Wars mod.

As long as they don’t shove a bunch of stupid skins and celebrity endorsements, it should be fine. And please don’t do the game like 2042

Things look okay, so far. Gameplay may be pretty solid for the first time in like 9 years of Battlefield

.....but it's absolutely crazy how they sandwich everything good between women developer commentary and a pathetic DEI gynocentric plot about the relationship between a brown woman and black man... set in WW3. They still have the same cocksucker puppetmasters, don't be fooled into thinking anything has actually changed. It's all a little covert humiliation ritual at our expense. Man do I hate these people.
