Interestingly enough, the bionic arm woman isn't anywhere in the game proper. I guess that was cut pre-release for whatever reason.

A woman being the engineer instead of the assault or something is probably less egregious, still the idea of locking anything behind gender that isn't traditionally a male or female roll is silly. It also sucks that the campaign might be female centric because modern writers have proven time and time again that they can't right compelling female characters so it'll be the most annoying girlboss thing they can come up with.

Interesting, I was under the impression gender was going to be an option in full release. Would like to see a troon ask that exact same question and for her to dare give an equally bitchy response.

But to be honest, gender locked to classes doesn't bother me. Classes being gender locked is still a big upgrade from the non-class locked character models in BF5 and hero characters in 2042.

I've seen people counter with "Well, in BF4 you could do these movements", not understanding that while it was in game, ADHD zoomers didn't play BF4 and force all of us to endure their seizures.

Dunno if its been discussed/clarified yet but are skins faction based? If not, I'm wondering how it'll affect enemy recognition (sans red/blue markers or teammate's names, I was more thinking in a Hardcore setting). Good example is the preorder Pac skin, wouldn't make sense for him to be running around on PAX's side.

100% agree, nobody did that shit back then and the game was better off for it. If you want to abuse glitches to create your own sweaty comptroon game against the developers wishes then just go play SMB Melee.
 
Since Work has been generous with overtime and I enjoyed the beta, I'll break my rule of not pre-ordering new games this one time so I can crossplay with a co-worker on or near launch.

I'm amazed at the ego of these devs, Aside from their sports games, EA has been overseeing failure after failure for a while now and now it seems like BF6 is going to be selling like hot cakes and they still want to publicly shit all over Charlie Kirk and customers over customization options.

They're not ready for Russia in the 1910s or Germany in the 1920s style political violence. They need to pump the breaks now.

shit is genuinely infuriating, battlefield is known for the vehicles, this isn't fucking cod where the warzone vehicles are just some extra shit you do to get out of the gayish forbidden zone shit, they are supposed to have a use else why even add classes that can repair them vehicles?
