I don't see why not, but with NATO vs Pax already established I doubt it will change bar a sequel, unless Zampella has full creative control and really had his heart set on bringing them in.

Like a lot of things, it seems like a reaction to 2042 running through the War in Ukraine. If I recall, they removed some kind of Russian chopper, and if he wasn't featured so heavily in advertisements and such, they probably would've replaced Boris. Russians, Chinese and Arabs seem to be off the table unless they're happy with calling them ultranationalists.

I'd rather one of these damn companies went balls-out and just made a War in Ukraine game where you could play either side in a campaign and multiplayer that reflected modern combat, but they'd never do that.

It's funny, the closest to that would be the ARMA Reforger modding community where they have (via mods) Russia vs Ukriane and a lot of players playing it. Hell, the mods even work on The Xbox and Playstation versions of the game too. I've found it quite fun to give it a go, however due to the game that ARMA is, it can be a bit goofy and buggy at times.

It's worth noting that Squad (which is ironically really closely related to the Battlefield franchise) has a few modded servers that runs Russia vs Ukraine. On the ArmA topic: ArmA 3 has like 3 or 4 (that I know of) heavily modded servers that have dedicated session times so they can pull enough guys for a 50v50,

If EA will let me have a closed weapon conquest/custom gamemode server with custom maps such as helm's deep, fy_pool_day from counter strike, bloodgulch from halo CE and 2Fort complete with their actual assets while being able to say nigger and level up naturally, I will pay for the dogshit passes and upgrade to phantom edition.

Come on Saudi Arabia and Jared Kusher, I believe in you, I just want to grill.
 
I cracked and "accidentally" pre ordered. My wish is for the game to be buggy as shit on release for that true Dice feel
 
Do people buy BF games on the EA app or on Steam/EGS?
I'm asking this because I don't see the point of buying a EA game on another platform since it requires the EA app to run in the background.

Before this, buying it on Steam still meant you had to deal with the EA app launching and requiring you to run it to play.

BF 6 now has some parts of the EA app integrated into it, so the actual app doesn't need to run while the game itself plays. This makes launching the game from Steam more convenient.

2042 as an example, even with it being on an SSD, still needs to wait for the EA App to launch, load the game, verify that the game is yours, and then launch the game. That literally takes minutes.

When I played the Beta for 6, I clicked play, the game launched without any other shit needing to launch, as a game should.

To follow up, I got my code and I was able to activate it, big ups to Intel again!
It's the EA App version, but you can't beat free; maybe I'll pick it up on Steam once it's $5 in like 2 years or so.

Should I buy this on pc or console?
I know this question sounds dumb, but I only started migrating to PC in recent years, so I’m still figuring out which platform is better for it.
