This seems to be the woman responsible for deciding whats gonna happen with BF6. Shes the lead producer and a nutcase.

Her replies is filled with her owning the chuds. I just can't understand why you would hire somebody who's obviously not a gamer.

A simple: done, we'll add a toggle option would not had hurt. Personally, that's a non-issue for me as long as it's not game-breaking or immersion breaking.

Pretty nicely suprised by the map rotation, normally one is hot dogshit but these all seem to be half decent
I don't want to shit on your parade (genuinely happy for you if you're enjoying it), but the maps are pretty weak. Too close-quarters, too many nooks and crannies that make for infinite sight lines, too much clutter, not enough space between points, etc.

I've only played Conquest though. Maybe this is a BF3 situation where something like Rush changes the maps dramatically?

Breakthrough makes a lot of the maps a bit easier to handle since you only have to deal with a specific section of the map each time.

I think the main issue with every map is that many vehicles can't navigate them safely, and one engineer can fill an entire road with mines. Tanks and the Bradley get funneled toward objectives on the main roads since driving off-road is a bitch, so they end up getting annihilated by mines.

I guarantee mines are the first thing getting nerfed. Every match I join has mines everywhere, you get too many, and the fact that it's unlocked from the start means people have nothing else and just throw them down for the hell of it. It makes getting in a vehicle a death trap.

I use mines since AT launchers you have at the start suck dick. At least the rpg doesn't fucking miss when the tank/ifv use smoke. Though mines were always "op" in early Battlefield games.

Man some of those challenges are fucking horseshit. That 'get kills on concussed players' was fucking miserable to get through, and I got lucky on the shotgun challenge with 5 tards clogging up a hallway on Cairo. I'm seeing shit like 30 headshot kills in one game and I'm just rolling my eyes.
It's easier to do a lot of them on portal full XP servers with bots; especially being able to password protect a match so no-one else will get in. That said, the 200 meter + 150 headshot kills for a sniper is fucking retarded (it's only really possible on like 2 of the maps); and it's probably there to sell an eventual shortcut kit anyhow.

Yeah, I just completed the first assignment for both assault and recon to unlock the Respawn Beacon and C4, both of those were somewhere annoying. Adrenaline kills only count 0.5-1 sec after you take the shot so I killed myself after getting my kill to avoid the cooldown on KOTH to get my 30 Kills and sat on the sidelines of objects while flying the drone spotting people using devices around as recon, being useless for 3-4 rounds.

The MP bots are just as retarded as the SP bots, but I'm glad they count towards completing assignments. It's going to be torture completing those naturally as the game ages and the skill level of the average player goes up.

This game is good but i hate the sound of women screaming in pain. and I hate that I can't customise my soldier.

So good news if you play recon, apparently the Recon drone can trigger enemy mines and it's hilarious

The ridiculous challenges to unlock weapons and gadgets is genuinely killing my desire to play the game. You have to intentionally play the game wrong, waste time, and contribute nothing to your team to do some of this shit.

Just finished the campaign. I think the most shocking thing to me was you don't control a single vehicle until the third to last mission of the game. Very rushed and forgettable. On a positive note, I played Mirak Valley for the first time after and it's probably my new favorite map. A shame it's the only large scale map like it.

Been enjoying the game but every firefight all I hear is screaming women
Yeah, it's one of the minor complaints that I have; it doesn't take away from my enjoyment, but it is annoying. It sucks too because from what I can tell, the support class is all female for each of the variants, unlike every other class, which is annoying.

I don't hear the screaming women that much, though I think the shrieks made when hit by incendiaries is kind of funny and over-the-top.

The all-female Support thing sucks though, I really thought there was a male Support for Pax Armata in the beta, but clearly it must've been a freaky tall, mannish-sounding woman.

LMAO Only EA could snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

>class and weapon challenges dont unlock until level 20 and 23 respectively
>challenges are tedious and frequently antithetical to class playstyle or unlock
>players flock to portal to abuse bots
>EA is somehow surprised that the portal is flooded with bot EXP servers
2042 portal was filled with EXP farm servers as well. Do these retards never learn? Why did they think making the challenges and exp so tedious was a good idea? Rather than player retention it's going to have the opposite effect. I'm already wanting to quit the fucking game because of them. I've played for like 30 hours and I've completed a single class challenge and not a single weapon challenge due to playing more than one class exclusively.

Let's be honest: Even if the XP grind wasn't tedious, you would still have bot farms made by people who are too impatient to wait. Modern Warfare 2 was replete with people who were boosting each other through kills; there's always someone who isn't satisfied with just playing the game.

Using 2042's battle pass as a further example, I just did the weekly missions and little more than that, and I still got to 60 on the second-last set of missions, meanwhile everyone else was rat racing and acting like it was the worst crime on earth to finish the thing.

Sure, some of the class gadgets being locked behind Assignments is a bit much, but I'm also enjoying a brief reprieve where not everyone is charging my vehicle with C4 or their Jeep of Peace. The only ones I consider really worthy of complaints are some of those "one-life" missions and more importantly, the weeklies that weren't really tested. "Wipe out squads as a team in Squad Deathmatch" sounds all well and good, but when you can respawn after a mere 3 seconds and you have to eliminate the whole squad in one go, it gets pretty retarded.

Still, would this be the most successful launch they've had in a while? I remember BF4 was infamous as a bad one, as were BFV and 2042. How did BF3 and BF1 launch overall?
