You have 5 studios and killed need 4 speed to make this game and you can barely produce shit compared to back in the day? Utterly insane, Battlefield 6 needs to fix itself in like 6 months before Infinity Ward wakes up from their hibernation. Lets admit it Treyarch are overrated and lost their luster hard, Activision already wrote off BO7 and gave MW4 a blank check for 2026. However, MW4? Say what you want but they revived COD in 2019 (battlefield 6 is even guilty of basing itself on the reboot a lot) so they need to start making proper content before MW4 hype is started.

The Map is Flat, even though it lies between mountains.

It's odd to me that they don't seem to have the input that someone like me, a long term Battlefield player, could give them.

Have more fucking maps at launch. Even if they're just remade older maps from past games.

I'm sure EA understand players want more maps, but they probably thought Redsec was going to be a huge hit and would make up for a lack of maps in the main game. With the past couple of games I think it would take them 6-12 months to make a map. I wonder how long it would take them to port over some of the better levels from BF2042? They could save resources by using the existing art assets and could be a shortcut to inject some more content into the game.

Overall quality of the maps is the problem, I wouldn't mind the smaller map pool if the maps were actually good.

Get a grip, CoD has been a complete joke for over a decade at this point.

Leveling up weapons is such a fucking chore. It takes about 750 kills give or take to get to 40, and then 1200 total kills to get to 50.

This should be cut in half at a minimum. And those shitty hardware xp chips are nearly useless and run in real time.

That double weapon XP period last week was nice, especially when you combined it with the hardware booster. I think it only took 15 kills to gain a rank in the 40s, and when you're killing at least 20 people a match it goes by quick. It's a shame it didn't go longer.

They took a page from Call of Duty for prolonged weapon grinds. When was the last time I’ve played Battlefield 6?

Optimistically speaking, I don't think Battlefield is "dying" from a playerbase perspective, more like it has "settled down" after the hype has subdued. I think it's more of internal sabotage or apathy from EA of how to sustain Battlefield for their fans. Battle royale does not interest the Battlefield fanbase, the current maps aren't suitable for what Battlefield is, progression is convoluted to where you'd have to do specific things that could deviate from PTFO.

If I were to ask you what game these were from, what would you tell me? I seriously despise every fucking person involved with the cosmetics of 6. I hate this fucking zoomer trash so much it's unreal.

DICE doesn't give a shit what you, or any of us think. They wanted the CoD audience of braindead consumer cattle who will buy all the fucking hideous slop in the cash shop and that's what the game is designed for. The game's quality is entirely secondary to how well the skins sell. The entire formula for this game is ripped straight from the live service drip feed manual and it thoroughly disgusts me.

Black Ops III. The green blob was going to tell me XDefiant. Anyway, REDSEC is still around and you still get beamed by players at the last minute.

Battlefield 2, 3, 4, and hardline had nighttime map expansions that required night vision or flashlights to play on.
Oh, I forgot about Hardline. There was a map there that took place in the woods at night. I think Battlefield 1 had a map that had the Northern Lights skybox at night too.
