I remember when I first played Battlefront 2. It was around 2008-9, I was about 5 or 6 and dad took me to GameStop one day to check out something new we could play together. Star Wars Battlefront 2 caught his eye as I gawked at all the new consoles and the TV on the far wall playing some video with the rabbit GameStop used to have as their mascot in some sort of Mario bootleg sidescroller. We went home and we played it and my God was I hooked. I think I played SWB2 every chance I could when I was at dad’s house and even though he didn’t usually want to play or have time to he still did when he could. I’ve probably beaten the campaign about 5 times now and easily dumped 1000 hours into it alone, just wish the PS2 kept track of your game time so I could say. Hell, probably even more than that. My favorite thing to do is to play as Chewbacca on Mos Eisley Hero Assault, stand right next to an ammo droid and spam the missile launcher and just watch all the fights happen below before flying straight into someone at full speed. Good times.
Does anyone else still do BF2 clans? I joined one recently after being invited and its been very nostalgic for me lol. Suprised these clans are still so active, with them having thousands of members too. Pretty sick and chill

The co-op mode is really fun when you get matchmade with the right people. Playing in the prequel era and have the heroes banter while fighting is kino.

I've played the newer EA one even after the updates and it's like how those drooling NPCs liked Cyberpunk after they made edger-runners for damage control... updates are meaingless if the base game sucks ass. Fuck you EA and Fuck you Disney. I've already been temp banned off kiwi for fedposting so I'll leave it at that but genuinely do not like Disney for what they've done to the OG star wars

good to know i guess, all of the people i've played coop with hardly lasted with their heroes.
still a good mode, the best even outside endor, fuck endor because the bots view don't get obstructed by the foliage.
i'll take your word for it, i tried a hero match and everyone was teleporting because i'm on wifi, until my ISP gives me fiber i won't pvp, i ain't getting another PC fried from the internet port again.
