What is funny is that employees for Catalyst are mocking fans who are enraged at Pardoe firing and telling them to leave the BattleTech fandom as they are not welcomed and will never be welcomed. They are also mocking people who said that they were interested BattleTech and wanted to get into but won't now over Pardoe firing saying that they were never fans anyway so they should just keep their mouths shut and that they don't want their money either. This is just fucking genius. You know what brings in business? Mocking and degrading fans and people who were interested in buying your product in the middle of a recession. Got some high IQ people working over at Catalyst. Proof that trannydom and Twitter activism causes brain rot.

I hate to talk about politics in this thread about games, but I really have to ask this. We're down to two options in terms of how we handle businesses and business autonomy in this country and other countries. I know the simple conservative right leaning answer is to preserve the autonomy of businesses and keep them private. But as it stands RIGHT NOW, the people who deal the bread are the ones throwing people under the bus for political reasons and those political reasons happen to swing disproportionately in favor of trannies and leftists. What is your solution? This shit is not going to get better if you just let it fester because no consequences have been dished to companies like Blizzard, like Activision, like WOTC, nobody. They have gotten away with it non-stop. And no, starting another business is not a solution either because investors and bankers are starting freeze assets for conservatives as well. How do you stop this? What do you do to prevent corporate tyranny? How do you stop USA from turning into a Cyberpunk dystopia?

Well I'm disappointed but not surprised this is happening, was gonna sooner or later given all the grifters screaming about games workshop being bad. I just hope they get their shit pushed in before they try going after tex and the legion again. And for those saying they won't try, remember he's got a massive affinity and knowledge of guns, a background in law enforcement, and he's apologized once before that's more than they will ever need

Keeping RL politics out of it doesn't save you. They'll "read between the lines" and go fucking hunting for anything once they've decided they don't like you, and if that turns up nothing they'll damn well make something up.

There are only two kinds of political stances to these people: theirs, and the wrong ones. They'll change theirs as is convenient for them, but once you have the mark of the beast they'll never let you wash it off. You will grovel and bend and bow and scrape before them forever and they'll laugh as you fail their shit tests over and over.
