Bayonetta 3

I hope the rerelease of 1+2 is the version with the Nintendo costumes.

I remember that time when everyone cried about how Bayonetta 2 was going to be a Wii U exclusive, i wonder if that'll happen again when they find out Bayonetta 3 is exclusive to Switch.

I shouldn't be surprised the third one is going to be an exclusive also. Ah well.

Also purple color scheme this time?

Am I the only person that noticed Bayo is actually bloodied in this one, and that the way the trailer ends makes it seem like she got blown in half?

I can't wait for the Bayonetta 3 Switch exclusive salt thread.

2 ports for every new game. And people tell me I'm nuts when I say Switch has no games.

It's been the same way for ages. People get a nintendo console for the console, then hope to find games worthwhile afterwards. It's a shame especially considering I'd love to get a switch, but my rationality can't justify it.

She did get split in half, you can see her legs separate.

To be fair, Bayonetta's legs separate enough that sometimes it's hard to notice anything's wrong.

Also, I'm wondering just who the heck this new enemy is supposed to be. Mayhaps the Chaos equivalent to Demons and Angels?

Some people think it kinda looks like Rodin.

I've also seen a few say this might be an alternate universe since Bayonetta "dies" and she has her appearance from the first game. I personally wasn't a fan of the whole time travel thing, but there will probably be more of it in this one.

Actually judging from that skull-for-a-head I'm going to offer the possibility that we're dealing with the Bayonetta universe's equivalent to Death Himself.

After all, if there's one thing for certain in the Bayonetta universe is that anything can be killed with enough guns on shoes. And someone's gotta collect what's left behind.

EDIT: And apparently the alt-timeline theory holds some water, too, in that her guns are renamed to Wittingham Fair, a regional version of the same song.

They’ve confirmed that Jennifer Hale is replacing Helena Taylor as the VA for Bayonetta.
