her family wont move here. like i said ive known her for a couple years before anything got serious. her parents do not want to leave iran bro. theyve lived their lives there and they want to die there. i think her cousin wants to leave iran but not to the usa and i doubt theres gonna be any sponsorship for family. its just not that kind of situation. the only reason youre getting green card scheme vibes is because thats just the only sitation a green card scam can happen. and it does happen. but shocker, people also meet and get married online far more often that green card scams happen lol. do your due diligence and youre good to go. of course online its easy to fake stuff, but over a long enough period one can pretty easily determine whether or not thats the case if they care to. i am not blissfilly or willfully ignorant, i am fully cognizant of all the potential pitfalls. youd be an idiot not to be. but people do meet and get together long distance without it being a scam lol. now and before the internet. all it takes is a bit of prudence and to be careful.

weve sent a couple photos back and forth but shes also pretty conservative so it took a hot minute to get to that point, but thats okay with me. shes from one of the few countries where girl arent skanks generally. which is something i appreciate to be honest.

And you wouldnt believe how big greencard scams are, just ask any ICE guy how many resources they have to waste checking on "married" couples. There's an entire industry for this in florida with people charging $10k to fake a marriage.

ill add that i speak a few languages and have had friends and gotten to know people from iran, china, taiwan, ireland, the dominican republic and the UAE for years in the process of learning these languages. so i am quite used to dealing with a variety of people in a variety of social environments online. and those experiences make it easy to spot chicks looking for a free card and scams.

because im a lazy typist? so sue me XD. and not only do i believe it, i am going to have to deal with a lot more scrutiny because of it. from the US govt and from friends and family. its not like im gassing people for questioning. of course anyone with sense would, for the reasons youve outlined et cetera.

Short reply; Don't import women from other countries to wife up, statistically the odds are not in the mans favor.

Right now as a man she'll be very agreeable because she's getting the better deal. Right now as a man you're being compared to the men she can get in her country, she's getting the better deal. Lifestyle, rights, environment, money she's getting the better deal. Once she gets over the honeymoon period she'll compare the man to his peers, find out what rights she now has and no doubt be influenced be the women now around her. I know enough men that have imported wives, they either divorced or they are miserable.

The only way it has a good chance to work is if the man goes to live in her country. Good luck chief.

As well, how can you be in love with someone you have never even truly met. I just never understood these long distance relationship type thing and to be honest is pretty fucking gay. Good for you for overcoming your personal issues, that is commendable, but I probably wouldn’t vent too much of your life story on this site out of all places.

Company I worked for back in the day sent our senior operations director to audit the companies office in Hong Kong. Older guy in his 50's, married 20 years+ with a kid. He meets this woman while he's out there, probably 10-15 years younger at a guess. He gets the yellow fever hard, speed runs divorcing his wife and wifeing up the noodle and getting her a green card. Eyebrows were raised in the office but there wasn't much gossip about it as this guy didn't interact much with us lower ranking staff so we didn't know anything but the basics.

Roll forward about 3 years and I get to go out for some work at the Hong Kong office. I'm working with a couple of guys that were in that office during that directors trip when he met this woman. They told me they all (Woman included) went to this bar (and it would have been a high end one) and the barman working recognised this woman and says to her in Cantonese "Oh Hi Miss Ping!"(or whatever her name was) he continued "Wow I've not seen you in here for a long time, you used to be in all the time" the woman then SHHHed him hard.

Those Hong Kong guys knew what was up and heard and understood everything. Gweilo sugar daddy was blissfully unaware. This guys then explained to me that women like that make it their "Job" to find rich foreigners to marry, that's their entire life go to the right bars every night fishing. They are not straight up prostitutes as they play the long game. He basically married a sugar baby masquerading as true love. Anyway, I don't know what happened with them as I left that company a long time ago but I imagine she's rinsed him dry.

Now you know that there are women that operate like this you can sniff them out either by meeting them or by listening to the guy talk about them how they met and stuff. When you see it, you see it.

Asians women in bars seem like a trap (pun intended).

I knew a guy who met a girl at a bar while on vacation. He thought she was his true love and bought her expensive things and got some sexual things in exchange. His spending money runs out and (s)he says give me 10 grand or I'm telling your hotel you took a tranny prostitute to your hotel room. Another got roofied by a woman who cleaned him out..

You have to be really desperate to think international bar hopping for chicks is a good idea.
 
Remember to cut some holes in the box. It will avoid some awkward questions from customs.
