I've succesfully blackpilled my mom and now she hates niggers and dunecoons as much as I do.
My father was absolutely hopeless though, social democrat through and through, but that's because he grew up in the bombed out ruins of postwar germany.
But he's been dead for a while so it doesn't really matter anymore.

The left leaning people in my family are teenagers, they always start turning conservative when reality starts hitting them in the face.

I feel like my family is both sides of woke. My granddad thought Call of Duty and creepypastas make serial killers like the church ladies, but he also thinks Trump supporters are Nazis and would drive around wearing a mask.

Yep. It has always been understood to be a matter of courtesy that this was one of the great topics to avoid completely at social gatherings, and in all honesty I think that has become even more important in recent years. Nothing good can possibly come of bringing up political discussion at family events in particular. The fact you share legal or genetic relation to each other doesn't mean you share a belief system or values with each other. No one ever had their mind changed about anything by a fight over the Christmas table; it just wastes the event for everyone and worse, it disrespects and wastes all the effort put into the gathering by the person who organised it, did all the cooking, the decorating etc. If there's a family gathering, someone went to a lot of effort and expense to make sure it happened. You can respect that and be a courteous guest even if you wish everyone else invited would drop dead. If you feel you really can't tolerate being in the room with them for whatever reason, make your excuses gracefully in advance and don't fucking come.

I just look people directly in the eyes and tell them I know more about politics than they do and I'm not going to waste my time talking about whatever you heard on the news. I'm a moderate so I do it to both sides of the aisle.
