Being white is the privilege - An idle thought

I've been thinking about this often and on for a few years now. They accuse all white people of being privileged, regardless of wealth, connections, education, or station in life. A redneck from the holler is more privileged than a black CEO. A white druggie in Seattle is more privileged than poor POC Xi Jinping. A jew has white privilege only insofar as that jew is currently perceived, or wishes to be perceived, as white. There is no way for a white person to lose that inherent privilege or for a non-white person to gain white privilege. Even marrying into a white family doesn't give a non-white person this privilege. Even living as part of the majority in a non-white society doesn't give white privilege. The only answer that makes sense is that white privilege is literally just the privilege of having white ancestors. White privilege is just getting to be white.

I'll take my puzzle pieces, trash cans, and thread posting ban now.
 
I wish being white was a privilege, but being white is more of a burden than anything. We're expected to pay for everything, fix everything, keep everything clean, keep society moving, all while being told we're horrible monsters for everything that happened in history ever, and all while having people we are supposedly "oppressing" with our existence get to lord over us.

I'm being a smidge hyperbolic, I know, but it's hard to deny the feeling.
 
Whenever I hear non-white people use the term White privilege I just think of that scene where Uncle Ruckus goes to heaven and becomes white, like he always wanted.

There certainly is some horse-shoe theory shit going on where everyone agrees that being white is awesome.
 
If you believe in the karmatic dogma, your theory would posit that being born white is proof that you were good in a previous life and thus deserve the inherent privilege of station.

Therefore, if you don't like white privilege you are both an inherently bad person who is jealous of the hard work of others and also a bigot.
