I also don't believe Bella is necessarily an abuse victim. Some people are just born with psychopathic traits. Here's the thing though: some psychopaths live normal lives with families. They likely have abnornlmal social qualities, but some never offend because they just see no reason to.
Bella has accomplished A LOT in two years and I think it's because the opposite of no supervision happened. It is likely Mike Janke also has psychopathic traits, it fits his career choice. He however is the kind who nows how to channel it for "good", or at least success. More likely Bella was kept under tight control at home, it's mentioned in one of Janke's interviews he actually didn't allow Bella to use Social Media. I'll believe it. I'm sure as a military man he did run a tight ship.
Here's the thing though; discipline doesn't cure psychopathy.
Bella finally gets out from under daddy's thumb and she runs amok. She gets to do everything she's ever wanted and express all the rage and resentment that's been building inside her. To me she behaves like someone who's never felt powerful in their life and just goes on a sadistic binge. See just about every time peasants got a chance to kill nobility, it's the same phenomenon. As Bella isn't living in 1790's Paris though she had to make due with hamsters and her classmates.
That's why there's no master plan. No safety net. This is like a coke binge where there's no greater goal than self gratification.
