Time to continue this thread o' mine:
Kevin getting bodied by a guy he's most similar, too, and, if he weren't worried about "relapsing", he'd have beaten, or done a lot better than his friends. It's quite comical, as the poor bastard had fuck all to hit Aggregor with, other than coating his fists with the ground.
Gwen looked like she was going to beat Aggregor, maybe, but because of Galapagus, where he's gets his wind powers from, it turns out he's immune to magic. Poor old Grandpa Max actually got his nerves damaged by being electrocuted. Azmuth brought it up, and he spent ages in a healing tank.

It was good but Omniverse decided to have her regress. I liked how she was trying to be a queen but she felt lonely and was manipulated.

Omniverse... Why did they regress and mess with certain things? Obviously, first off, the thing with Kevin, Devin, Ragnarok, and Aggregor; then all of the Amalgam Kids being artificial hybrids - Pierce and Alan I can forgive and understand, not Manny and Helen - Captain Nemesis returning; Phil joining the Rooters; then what you said about Charmcaster; then making Dr Viktor into a subservient twit - he WAS in the Original Series, but he was merely frightened of "Ghostfreak", but he was not simple - not at all.

Because they thought that the increase in ratings whenever young Ben was shown was because the fans wanted Ben to act like a dump 10 yo again. In reality, it was because of nostalgia. The fans liked their memberberries.
Edgy writing and the new showrunner wanting his discarded ideas in the show. Hint: They were discarded for a reason.
For CN, they wanted him back but sadly, their ideas were not as good as Dwaine's (RIP) and they failed to understand that he was an one-off (with some callbacks). Phil was for nostalgia.
Charmcaster was because they wanted her back and regressed her completely. She started acting like a teen with no parental supervision. The person she was in the OS but without her uncle to give some guidance (as maladjusted as it was). Also, they liked her original design which is why her new one was the same but lesser due to being overdesigned. Personally, I would pick one of 3 designs depending on what she would choose to do with her life:
1) Good Witch Queen: A royal gown that would designate her as head sorceress (complete with crown). She would establish dyplomatic relations with our reality and the Plumbers. This design if she wanted to be someone her father would be proud of (as he was Mage Jesus in their world).
2) Wandering Witch: Very traditional witch design that works well with backpack and utility belt. Self-made staff. She changed the monarchy into a republic and left it to run itself due to loneliness and guilt for what she did. This design if guilt and loneliness take over and decides to find herself by traveling the universe on her own. Can be an aloof ally with her own agenda but not as hostile as she makes others believe. Really wants others to see past her rough exterior but NOT pity her either.
3) Bitter Witch Empress: Dr. Doom and Maleficent had a baby and it is this. Intimidating but attractive sorceress gown. Body changed due to experimental magic rituals to enhance power conductivity. Wants to test her might against Gwen and her species. Her people are not oppressed but she feeds their desire for power after years of tyranny under her predecessor. They have largely forgiven her as things have improved and she strengthens them. This design if her negative feelings hit their limits and she decides to conquer.
These are the roads I saw her take way back when before Omniverse. What do you think?
Victor being subservient to Ghostfreak would be fine as he was his ruler. Thing is, they made Ghostfreak far less intimidating in Omniverse.

@Incecticyder Yeah, I thought Ghostfreak felt lackluster. And, to me, Ultimate Alien Charmcaster is peak, which is why her returning in Omniverse, and more or less going back to her old ways, but this time without her uncle bossing her around, still feels a bit... meh.

They shrunk him and reversed his face. He went from a big eldritch ghost to a standard Grim Reaper knock-off. He was Lovecraftian and they made him a Saturday Morning Cartoon Villain. They should have increased his power and made him into someone the rest of the system feared and respected. As he was in Omniverse, Lord Transyl felt comfortable talking back to him. That should not have happened.
Omniverse in general had the tendency to feel too much like the Uncanny Valley version of the original show. Ben still acts 10 which is not as tolerable when he is 16. Charmcaster is the same. She needed to have some growing up to do but did not. One idea would have been to join the cast as the magic expert now that Gwen is gone. Hell, give her a love interest that is not an ass.
Also, one big thing that I have noticed about Omniverse is how beholden they are to the original Ben 10.000 as it was depicted in the original series. Like, with all the time travel and Ben deciding to befriend Kevin, didn't the future change? The "Ben of before the time travel" and "the Ben of after time travel" have to be different and taken different paths. Can't they get that things would not be the same? Why should Ben STILL end up with KAI?! He had so many other love interests that are better developed than the furry obsessed weirdo that hadn't been seen for so many years. The future changed! Dwayne was not that big a fan of her and had her replaced with Julie!
Every part of Omniverse seems to pick and choose the worst traits of every character across the series and shoving them in this show. Every character has had a time in which they were better than in Omniverse. In Omniverse, the good qualities were mostly removed and replaced with bad ones. The new showrunners just did not know Ben 10 and what gave it its identity.

You'd think Death Battle would be running out of steam by now, at least. Haven't watched them since the Shao Kahn V M.Bison episode... Or was it Ryu vs Jin Kazama...? One of the two.

Not directly related to the subject of this thread, and as much as I kind of, don't like Omniverse's art style, I liked Albedo's Ultimate Forms in it. Plus, I always wanted to see an Ultimatrix altered version of at least one of the Andromeda Five. MEET... ULTIMATE! WATER! HAZARD!

Actually... actually, to wheel back to the topic, in a way, based on the fact that Ultimate Kevin has Ultimate Spidermonkey's jaw, and a half reptilian Hulk-like face, because of Ultimate Humungousaur's DNA, sometimes I wonder, because I'm a NERD WITH TOO MUCH TO DO, if, say Kevin, absorbed the Ultimatrix's self-defence feedback pulse, like in Kevin 11, the episode, he'd be able to morph into the unlocked Ultimates without having to manually activate the Evolutionary Feature.
