Love to see Fortuna’s wheel spinning in such a based direction for so many of the people who grave danced over the death of the farms. Journalists and sex predators in particular facing even small amounts of blowback is so satisfying, because it’s just cosmically righteous. These people spent months spinning the “doxing” and “harassment “ on KF by summarizing publicly available info about them on an obscure gossip forum and discussing their latest self-owns as literal gangstalking and attempted murder. And it’s not hypocritical to laugh at and support this faggot getting banned.

Yes... ha ha ha... yes!

But isn’t that what the farms does? :tomgirl:

Tbh if we felt like it we'd be doing that to Musk ourselves, or any other wealthy lolcow with a jet. We just don't call it news, we'd literally be doing it just for the lulz.
The main difference is that KF forbids people from acting upon this reporting. It's just collecting information and people saying "wow, this person is a total asshole and also a criminal". The collection is neutral, the commentary is personal and up to the users. You're free to think that someone giving minors drugs is doing the right thing and you're free to say so here (and we're free to call you a pedo).

Media not only collects info, they publish it with the implicit intention of having these people harassed by others, and when it happens, they justify it because they signal these people as "evil". A similar situation would be Null using all the info we gather to make an open editorial saying "these people should be taught a lesson!", having dozens show up at their homes, and then suffering no consequences for it. So far, which featured person here has been victim of a mob going at their place to assault them like it's happened to, oh, coincidentally!, Tucker, Tim Pool, etc? Nobody has been targeted by us in the same way many RW people were targeted by media for the crime of making memes.

ETA: then, there is the big difference of this website being some message board, while CNN is CNN. Something something power something great responsibility.

Journalism is a tank of sharks and they all shit on each other and sometimes cannibalize each other. Not surprised (((nbc))) is kvetching at one of their own. There’s been a lot of journos getting fucked in the ass by their own company (see: Chris cuomo). I think the powers that be are purging all their liabilities so that they can have a better control on the flow of information.

Either way the press are faggots

Oh I know they’re different, I was just… joshing. :tomgirl:

In the elon buys Twitter thread I wished for elon to burn it all down. SOMETIMES WISHES DO COME TRUE!
I saw ol Ben here featured and just started laughing. My greatest respect though I reserve for Josh being smart enough to weather the storm just long enough to see some schadenfreude come his way. He earned it.

Appears the Mighty Musky got rid of all the newsroom operatives.
The fact that news agencies had multiple contacts on the ready for a very influential social media platform is telling.

I mean, reaching out to their media rep, that's fair as far as I'm concerned, but I think we all know at this point that that wasn't the case.
