Apparently being quote-tweeted by Arthur Chu (archive) is a harassment campaign.
I like how he says "I know too much stupid garbage" but doesn't even remember Ian got famous in the first place from being against Gamergate. He was like all the other gaming (and non-gaming) journo faggots who thought it entitled them to pontificate about politics as experts. Then he switched sides because the antis were somehow even stupider and even a complete idiot could see it.

I only know this because of how many of these faggots still to this day cry about Chong "betraying" the cause.

"Reporters are lying to their audiences, definitely not me though!":

I hate this faggot casually saying "the world's a nightmare" like it's just a fact. He and his ilk constantly call their opponents doomsday death cultists, yet the world being a nightmare is an axiom to them.

Is his cushy soy-infused life a nightmare? No. But of course he needs to do his part in assuring the public that yes, everything is very terrible and brave disinformation warriors like himself are the only thing protecting them from total oblivion.

Glenn Greenwald with the Stuttering Ben lore update:
glenn vs ben.png
(archive) (ben's nerf archive)

This was funnier for the three seconds during which I thought he was reporting on Kid Rock from the shitter:

And because Elon Musk is so scary, Ben is now on Youtube and TikTok. That's right, Ben "I'm old as hell why would I donate to Twitch streamers?!?" Collins is on TikTok.

Say "uwu", Ben. Just say it.

You could get off the site at any moment, Ben. For one thing, you're already employed at a giant corporate media enterprise in producing disinformation for the benefit of the elite and they'd probably put you on the air more often if you stopped fucking tweeting stupid shit.

Also, as Glenn alludes to, you weren't allowed to desecrate Wehrmacht corpses and few of them would have been carrying Nazi memorabilia into battle by 1944. (This is aside from where the fuck would a soldier be able to store all that shit as they're racing through Western Europe to get to Berlin first.) Spend your week watching Band of Brothers, it's a semi-fictionalized TV show not a documentary so you're allowed to, Ben, and see the trouble the guy goes through to acquire and keep just a single German pistol he wants.

How did Benny Boy think this was gonna go? Does anyone anywhere think it’s cool to rob corpses, even Nazi ones? His would-be self-righteous tweet coda, “Back into the box and down to the basement hup hup” is one of the most retarded attempts to have it both ways I’ve seen in a while. “Yes, they’re collectible, but only if they’re hidden in shame, to the point where they may as well not exist!”

Cool.

"A lot of people have been asking me..."

Who are these many people who have seen videos of Bud Light cans being shot, but are oblivious to the context surrounding it (that could be discovered by simply googling the words "Bud Light")? My guess is they don't exist. But ok, let's assume people are asking Ben because he's a serious journalist who will really get to the bottom of this.

Screenshot 2023-04-10 at 10.23.32.png

(You can tell he's a smart because he has placed a couple of books as decorations vertically in a corner. That's what people who read a lot do.)

Well, it's a 90-second video. Ben explains that trans person Dylan Mulvaney got a Bud Light sponsorship and now there's a manufactured outrage. "So is that really all that's happening here? One person got a sponsorship for one day, and then they tried to retroactively fill in the narrative? Yes, that's it." End of video.

Meanwhile, a tabloid like the New York Post provides context that makes it clear it's far from being about one TikTok video shilling Bud Light (as if that wasn't obvious).

Even if he thinks forcing troon shit down everyone's throat is a good thing, it's absolutely dishonest and shitty journalism to present the story as just crazed bigots bigotin' it up and that's it. But of course we expect nothing else from disinformation expert Ben Collins.

My grandfather fought in the Pacific theater and had some stuff from WW2 stashed in the attic that was picked off from Japanese soldiers. I only found out about it when he passed though.

Oh, hey, look, Ben is reading the same vapid recently released shit as everyone else in his wannabe bougie circle including garbage from one of his fellow idiot coworkers at NBC and a memoir from some loser for The Atlantic who tweets and writes about all the same irrelevant politics nonsense. Really out there expanding your horizons, challenging the ideology of your class and holding power to account, Ben, you fearless rebel you. Be careful with all that intellectual heavy lifting.

Bugpod reading for bugpod people.

I saw a bunch of leftists sharing this image around; this is their idea of a good gay internet smackdown:

Don't let the blue check fool you, the guy Collins is responding to is a nobody with no followers. He also has nothing to suggest he is a pedo, Ben just decided to call him one.
Instead of doing his "job" Ben's getting into a slapfight with some random normal dude by calling him a pedo for no reason.

The rando made his own response. It's not the best but it's better than Collins' libelous non-sequitur.

The limitations aren't on the child, Ben, they're on the sex offender. The duty is on him not to approach the child, the child does not face legal punishment (and hopefully no real punishment at all) for approaching the sex offender. A child has no duty to know who is and who is not a sex offender. Interesting that Ben, a stickler for disinformation, reverses the consent and knowledge factors here.

How fucking sad. Walter Cronkite is spinning in his grave when a lackluster pathological liar like this is getting an award with his name on it.
I dunno... there's some joke there about a liar winning a award from liars named in honor of a liar but I'm still working on it.

Let's just say I'm not convinced there's that much difference between Walter and Ben save that the former at least knew how to behave like an adult.

Day ending in y, so Ben hops on Twitter to spread disinformation:
bc.pngbc3.pngbc1.png

dril's a shitposter furthering the joke, what's Ben's award-winning excuse for undermining our democracy?

Not content to spread disinformation himself, Ben retweets another obsessive disinformation spreader attacking journalists for accurately reporting information:

It's quite striking how people like Ben cannot understand reporting on something is not endorsement unless you are hilariously and extremely obviously biased in your reporting to make sure people know you are against it.

People like Ben seem to think saying "Some people say X" is the same as "X is a opinion we agree with and here is what X is". Real NPC behavior going on.

People like Ben are so incapable of handling things they don't like that they want it banished from being mentioned so they can pretend it doesn't exist. They think the masses are exactly like them and just intake whatever media elites tell them and only that without any critical reflection so if the New York Times doesn't report accurately than people will be free from false consciousness and only believe as Ben does.

Ben would be like Beatrice Webb and ask the Soviets if a famine was happening and when they say "no" say it was disinformation and accuse the people accurately reporting of being malicious agents of evil forces. He might not have the mental capacity for evaluating anything on a basis other than whether or not an authority figure he favors tells him it's true.
