Careercow Ben Collins / Benjamin Thomas Collins / @oneunderscore__ - Journo Scum

Why don't all of the people who claim to hate Musk and Twitter and who think their lives are literally "Hell" now, have some principles and just leave the site? There are several alternatives, including leftist hugboxes.

That alone exposes them for the bullshit artists they are IMO. Their egos and desire for likes/retweets/attention is far more important to them than anything else.
Absolutely and they're already panicking because Threads is starting to taper off in engagement. Does anyone even remember Tribel?

Elon could hire every internet "researcher" on the planet and never understand the internet especially because it would change as they attempt to research it. Ben rejects this premise because he believes that anyone who claims to be an expert has a complete and total understanding of everything. (Something that almost none of those experts, at least the good ones, would actually ever claim themselves.)
You have to remember Ben considers spewing lies and propaganda all day "study."

Ben Collins is complaining about Twitter turning into PayPal, yet would be very open to having actual real banks close your banking accounts down when you go against his narrative of being for the same establishment that wants to censor and blacklist you.

And he still calls himself a journalist.

This doesn't make any sense, Ben, a company can obviously "leak" (aka freely and openly give) its own e-mails. It can't give people your bank account info, not that anyone would want it since you claim to be poor.

Notice how Ben, our disinformation reporter, spreads a conspiracy theory that Twitter wasn't censoring due to outside institutional pressure and further alleges that this conspiracy somehow targeted him personally even though it was the "conspiracy" that he denies existing that wrote an e-mail about him.

Sounds like some disinformation from our buddy Ben, the gigantic faggot.

He didn't leak the emails because they thought it would make Ben look bad, though Ben doesn't realise how it does, in fact, make him look bad if he ever claims to be impartial, non-partisan, or indeed anything a so-called journalist should theoretically be. It also makes him look bad because it shows just how much he needs Twitter, at least how it was, so all his bitching and caterwauling about Evil Musk is because it's affected him personally, rather than any allegedly objective complaints he might have about the changes Musk has made.

No, the email was leaked as part of a massive data release of how Twitter worked pre-Musk. This includes this email, where they show they have a close working relationship with Ben as a reporter mostly based on his desire to suck Twitter's dick. It shows a symbiotic relationship between the previous Twitter regime, actively spreading misinformation under the pretense of removing it, and Ben, who has never met a part of the Narrative he hasn't been happy to shill, especially as he benefits.

To Ben, this email shows he's on the Right Side of History. To anyone aware, it's more proof that he's an ideological hack who misses people at Twitter listening to him far more than he would ever admit. That he calls something that was accurate "an insane conspiracy theory" is just the icing on the cake.

What does being "first-generation" reporter have to do with ANYTHING???

Where did it come from, this business of turning Twitter content into “news”? The root cause of this phenomenon is probably laziness. Rather than pick up the phone and call some sources about what’s happening in the real world — or, God forbid, leave Mommy’s basement to see for yourself what’s happening — it’s much easier just to cut and paste something you found on the Internet and pretend that this is “reporting.” But I digress.

I hate this lying faggot so much.
On this we agree. It's true hatred, for him and all like him.

That stated, I do wonder how in the fuck Ben and other "journalists" like don't ever end up found dismembered in a suitcase somewhere. They fuck with so many peoples' lives and livelihoods I really am shocked nobody has ever pushed back.

Is he saying the media industry runs on nepotism? 🤔

That is pretty much the point he is making. "I am special guys I did my own work I didn't have a huge network of allies and mentors to put me in place to succeed" which is a hilarious self report on the entire professional class.

The funny thing is that Ben's taking greater shots at his own side in the media than the supposed "enemies" as that entire zeitgeist has been built on who you know. Just recently Rachel Maddow herself said Tucker Carlson personally taught her a lot and his support was key to her career. (The other part of that story is that nobody at MSNBC wants to mention how much they relied on Keith Olbermann for the foundations of most of their stars. Nor that Roger Ailes started MSNBC and they later openly copied his methods at Fox.)
