The worst part about these dudes is I can't tell if they legitimately thought Twitter was some intellectual paradise before because they're actively delusional or just rewriting history to justify their current delusions.

Twitter never had the "tools, nor the leadership necessary to handle that responsibility" and even the former people except that one dude admitted this before they were canned. Twitter is barely any different than it was before, where are these guys seeing all this shit if they didn't change their follows? Why are they so proud about writing extensively about how big of idiots they are and believe any shit they see? Why do they think anyone on Twitter needs to "process current events in 'real time'" in the first place? It's a bunch of irrelevant losers, wannabees and (Allah forgive me) journalists tweeting constantly. These morons have their heads so far up their own asses they don't realize that the myth they sold themselves about Twitter is exactly why everyone hates them and why they keep failing and winding up depressed like Ben here. Trying to run a collective endless struggle session is your own damn fault, not the nature of Twitter or anything else. You're mad at Elon because he told Twitter, the company, to stop participating as much in your faggotry.

The smear merchants for hire like Ben who were lucky enough to get snatched up by large corporate outlets don't have to constantly generate content like their lesser sweatshop blogger colleagues. It is interesting that Ben (and several other big names from the Corporate Cluster B Smear Squad) seem to be either MIA or focusing on personal projects heading into an election year when you would expect them to be the most active. Maybe their behind the scenes antics and public meltdowns are finally catching up to them.

Because they suspended him for being obsessed with Elon and all he did was Elon crap they had to wait a while before they could publish him again. You think he had anything else? It took him eight months to discover an e-mail Elon was sent with a link to an obscure article that Ben incorrectly read that came after Elon had already started buying Twitter.

Ben Collins is a reporter for NBC News who specializes in coverage of disinformation and extremism, particularly on social media. His work has earned him many plaudits, including a 2023 Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Television Political Journalism.

Collins is treated as an expert in the burgeoning field of countering the spread of misinformation. Yet his error rate is noteworthy.

Take the Gaza hospital explosion, for example. On Tuesday, reports surfaced that the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza had come under attack, resulting in as many as 500 deaths. The New York Times ran with "Israeli Strikes Kill Hundreds in Hospital, Palestinians Say." Underneath this headline was an image of an obliterated building—readers who squinted would have noticed that this was not the hospital, but a completely different target.

The Times' only source for information about the explosion was the Gaza Health Ministry; mainstream reporting noted that Palestinian authorities laid the blame squarely on an Israeli airstrike. Subsequent intelligence reports from both Israel and the U.S. provide credible evidence that the hospital was most probably struck by Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a terrorist group.

I've always imagined him as the type of guy that's on the company Slack all day talking about queer issues and virtue signaling things like BLM in preparation for his eventual firing. Instead of admitting he's a talentless hack who peddles misinformation, he will turn around and sue NBC for discriminating against him because he spoke out in favor of BLM and LGBTQs.
