I like Ben Shapiro and I don't particularly dislike him. I only dislike the stupid shit he says.

The thing with Ben, imo, is that his purpose seems to be discussing with College students and that's fine. Most of the people who are there have some level of (for the lack of a better word) privilege to fit the things he says. For example, don't get pregnant before finishing your education or don't take stupid jobs. Overall, telling the things he says to this audience ain't necessarily bad because most of his followers and critics happen to be middle class or a bit above middle class.

Of course, this will never resonate well with a man who's been born in a broken home where the father left and the mother's a crackwhore. You can't just tell him "you can just stop being poor if you do this or that!". Of course it's possible as many people managed, but it's not as simple as he presents it. Societal factors are a thing and they are a thing Ben has never had to face in his life.
