Benjamin A. Boyce is the host of "Calmversations" (YT), his podcast where he discusses mostly Gender Critical topics, known for giving detransitioners a voice along with other individuals whose opinions are too "spicy" for the average mainstream interviewer.

Since it is the holiday season and you may want to sample this Boyce of Reason, have a byte of his satirical reading of "Twas the Night Before Wokemas..."

With the fun he has aside, I have been a listener of his for years and his interviews make for great listening, with new content coming out multiple times a week.

Benjamin first got into the big-leagues of content creation by covering The Evergreen State College Story (a must-watch in my opinion if you're looking to binge) and used his momentum wisely to make a well respected name for himself talking to those who may struggle to find listeners in the ever-politically correct sphere of speech.

For quick reference, you may want to visit his Playlists page if you're looking for specific topics, but overall I have yet to listen to an episode I did not find interesting.

I've been a regular watcher for years. In fact, it was his episode with Curtis Yarvin that first seriously introduced me to him and the ideas of NRx more broadly and I think his episodes with James Lindsay are about the only time I can stand listening to that sperg (James) anymore. He really is quite gifted as an interviewer. He knows how to put the guest at ease so that they will offer more candid and off-the-cuff takes while also knowing when to reign things back in and ask pointed questions that get to the root of the topic.

Ben may be a bit fruity but he's married to a white woman and is openly Christian so he's already more based than 99% of overly-online DR larpers.

I don't even understand the criticisms of him you're making, the point of his show is to showcase the ideas of the guests. Ben is supposed to basically be in the background facilitating the guest's discussion of their own ideas. Are you just pissy at anyone who doesn't make their content about screaming the N word? Because you have Null's podcast for that already, Ben's is a good entry point for women and people with softer sensibilities. Women need redpills too.

I can sign on with the bullying of James and Wokal though. I always make sure to shit talk Wokal in the comments anytime he's mentioned. Faggot has made exactly one interesting point in the entirety of his e-career.

Oh wow, he's gonna interview Null? Should be an interesting crossover given Boyce's cultivation of un-troons, gender criticals, and terfs. I wouldn't judge him for that audience alone though, he has a wider reach than many because of his approach.

You might have not noticed, but I am quite a sensible moderate person myself with very civilized proclivities that rarely, if ever, utters racial slurs.

Honestly, he was pretty funny throughout the Evergreen State College drama but that was all I was watching his stuff for. Dropping receipts and interviewing students was p quality. His interview with based chalkman was actively hilarious.

Outside of that I don't find him to have the charisma and content to keep me interested in him. This might be the first I've heard that he's still at this in like 5 years. On my radar he got blipped out thanks to the shiny zoosadist drama.

I mean for a kiwi there wasn't anything that we didn't really know, but this wasn't for kiwis.
I listen to this off the back of the mati podcast and I heard null mention on mati during the dono section about starting a charity then found out a lot more about it through this interview.
Fundamentally I truly believe what null fights for is more than some forum about the stupidity & degeneracy of what humanity has to offer.
I will donate to a cause I believe in even if I don't fully share their views.
it's why I supported the forum, it's why I've subscribed to gumroad for as long as I have, even when the content is lacking.

Fun interview.

I thought it looked like Boyce was having trouble staying awake at some points, but his continual tissue use suggested he was feeling under the weather (I don't recall a host cleaning their nose so much - or ever - on screen in an interview before).

I was also amused how abruptly the stream ended with Josh.

I've listened to many an interview to step out of my own echo chambers occasionally. But the AGP interviews I can't bear to listen to.

altho warned by many others, Josh included, it wasn't until mild-mannered Clark Kent (Ben) got several bans from YT for simple, polite questions like "when did you first decide you were a man/woman"? that i went on red alert.

That question is regularly asked of all trans people, but Ben asked the identical question to an EX-trans person, which is verboten.

so it isn't just WHAT is said, but who is saying it.
Some people obv have permission to say anything if they have the special identities.
but if you don't, you get put on a watchlist & they will regularly censor you for tiny infractions other YTers can routinely get by with or ignore.

i did not fully understand what is at stake & how deep the censorship was, til I saw polite Ben (who never even uses nasty words) censored/demonetized over bullshit.

i think i wanted to believe people were censored because they'd been 'mean' or 'went too far'--but I knew that was never true for Ben. If anything, he walks on eggshells.

I now realize Josh is correct when he foretells an internet collapse. (go to 43:15)

I wish he weren't right, but he is.
