Got my eyes on a Leatherman Crunch. Unless theres a multitool with a Klein 1003 or a Knipex 8603180 on the end.

Never had any problems with my leatherman, that thing looks designed weird though, my pliers are on the inside.

Yeah, but WHICH Leatherman? They make variants. Nice Comoesta has an old Leatherman Wingman that needs a new knife, but he cant imagine using it at work.
The Wingmans too Outdoorsy for a garage.

I had one of the originals for about 10 years then switched to the Wave in the late 90s & I've had the same one ever since.
Never used mine at work (mechanic) just always good to have. I made up a Cpl of these type things

That's my old man's goto as well. I tend to use sets of tools like your thumbnail shows. Prying with a solid needlenose or flathead screwdriver just seems... expensive if you overdo it with these compact multitools, but I'm a young buck with raging testosterone still and will destroy tools.

Idk, mines pretty old, the ones that look closest are bond and rebar. Just get one with tools you're gonna use, a friend gave me mine so I can't complain, it does need to get loosened up with a bit of oil or something though.

I've got a wave as well, got it about a decade ago in some promotion. I figured the wave specifically might not be enough for you @Nice Comoesta.

I'm partial to the Wave (useful in so many more cases than I'd care to describe. It works for electrical applications but since you seem to want wire strippers the Squirt seems to be your best bet. Not sure why you were eyeing the Crunch since that's more of a vice grip than a wire stripper.

I’m partial to the Crunch for fitting a mechanics toolset better than the traditional needlenose pliers, as the locking pliers will have more utility with things like tie rods and rounded bolts.
BUT
Nice Comoesta specializes in Electrical.
HOWEVER
The crunch appears to have wirestrippers built into its connecting rod, hence delemia.
AND YET
You put a Klein 1003
or a Knipex 8603180
On the end of a multitool, and I will find you, buy 7, tickle your Grundle AND suckle your Goiter.

My leatherman has the ruler on its body, it's not some gimpy thing that's folded away taking up a slot.
