I don't even notice new users unless they are doing something to stand out (typically being autistic) so anyone who comes in and immediately feels like they've been here for years gets kudos from me.

This is my opinion too; I was reading who other people are nominating, and honestly thought a lot of these people were here for at least two years. My personal favorite 2018 newfriends are:

@Big Bad Brat, who has a great sense of wit and was pretty friendly
@damian, because *cough* his Comicsgate posts are nearly essential to understanding what Comicsgate is *cough*
@Gengar, whose threads are always well done, organized, researched, and informative which soothes the autist within

and special mentions to @Memology 101, for his excellent BetterHelp series, the gay guys posting in the Noodles and Beef thread for their posts, and @Desire Lines for being a friendly comrade whenever I was in chat.
