Best of This is How You Don't Play's - What is the best TIHYDPs?

Hard to say if he ever played football, but the rest of it is pure bullshit.
He MAYBE played football in the street with neighborhood kids when he was younger, but he was nothing more than the equivalent to a 4th-string tight-end who couldn't catch, was slow as dirt, and had a pulse. Anything beyond "playground play" is dumb, and if he claims otherwise, he's extra retarded. The only sport Phil plays is the mental gymnastics he performs to sway his wheelchairs into believing him.

If Phil played any sports, why does he have no idea what is going on when he plays any sports video games? He doesn't understand football, baseball, or even tennis. The one time he knows what is going on is when he plays a wrestling game. Then he knows what every move is called, what color speedos the men should be wearing, all the theme songs, every person's name, birthday, and favorite food.

When watching other streamers playing Madden or FIFA they get into the game and get excited. Phil is just bored. But pop in wrestling, ooh boy. Phil starts screaming and going wild.

While not a TIHYDP, any of his royal rumble matches are a good watch. Phil sitting there and watching the AI fight itself while screaming and having a ball. The most fun he has playing games is when he doesn't even play them and just watches the computer. Very bizarre.

I remember when he played Feefuh 12 and after about an hour of bugged menu mechanics he was finally playing the game with Man-Chested United and when the AI kept scoring goals on him by crossing the ball in for a header, he referred to them as "rhendom headbutt goals", as if the game is glitched and things like this never happen in the actual sport.

Phil probably played sports in a sense that he played whatever activity it was for P.E. like flag football. It would make sense now that I think about it because he wasn't starting to sprout like a potato until what, his early-mid 20s? So cut and paste the part where he is able body to jog maybe a lap or two around the gymnasium in and put it in lines that he was playin with his bros instead of a bunch of niggers from his highschool gym class.

This is also how I know he never played any sports at all. You literally cannot play even street-level games and have absolutely no idea what's going on.

Not arguing your point, but we know Phil has driven a car before and yet that hasn't translated into him knowing what to do in a racing game. Which to me is just further proof that he doesn't care enough about games to connect any dots, ever.

I would feel sorry for Phil, who picked probably the worst career that he could have, but on top of bringing it on himself, he's such a piece of shit otherwise that he wouldn't deserve any tears being shed for him anyway. Fucking threatening a little girl, and only when she can't hear him? He's lucky that didn't result in an unpleasant visit from her short-tempered father.

I say some snippets from Phil's woes with the Bloodborne Old hunters DLC and I just wanted to ask: did he ever manage to reach Ludvig's second stage? Or was he stuck on the "beast mode"? After his failings I watched a Video on how to beat Ludvig and the second form seemed to be a bit easier.

He finally went back to it and beat it. I think it was sometime last year.

In his first playthrough I think he did manage to get to Ludwig's second form a few times, but as you can imagine he died to it, I think every time he died to the second form's instakill move which is slow as shit and telegraphed to hell and back. I mean this is the same guy who said that he was, I quote "learning core gameplay mechanics" when fighting Ludwig.

Learning core gameplay mechanics? This is where Phil's seemingly permanent gut-reaction to criticism/mockery really bites him in the ass, because even though he would undoubtedly still say stupid shit thanks to not being invested enough in what he's doing (playing a video game), it surely makes it worse the fact that he would much rather give everyone the finger (often literally) than work on actually knowing what he's talking about so that he doesn't get mocked so much in the first place.

Of course, there's also his laziness and lack of appreciation for being able to keep a roof over his own oddly-shaped balding head getting in the way of him having any real motivation to stop being a fraud who only ever fools the most brain-damaged man-children on the planet.

I saw his "I quit the Old Hunters DLC" and he stated that he learned core Gameplay mechanics against Adriatus (did i wroe that Right?) And Adriatus was a secret end boss Right? God damn. No wonder Phil's streams with Souls-like games are so "popular". they all wantto see him rage and whine an maybe even cry.

Oh sorry, still it doesn't bode well for him because Ebrietas is probably the hardest boss in the base game, not including chalice bosses. She isn't an end boss, but she is a secret endgame boss due to her difficulty. I remember in his first playthrough he got spanked by Daddy G who is the first mandatory boss so he grinded to level 25 or something like that and after that he grinded even more to level 40 before he even fought Vicar Amelia which is the 2nd mandatory boss, then he rounded off his scrubby play with probably the easiest weapon to use in the game which is Ludwig's Greatsword (not to be confused with the Moonlight Sword that the actual Ludwig uses in the boss fight) which explains why he didn't have to learn even core gameplay mechanics until Ebrietas, before her he just kept smashing his head against the wall with his overleveled character until the bosses eventually relented.

I present the genius that is Ludwig World Order...

Oh I fucking love watching him play sports games. I grew up a hockey kid, I know the game in and out, have my list of favourite players, have my teams and plenty of opinions about how they're fucking up their franchises. I lay that framework because when it comes to pretty much any other sport, I'm pretty clueless. That said, sit me down in front of a football/baseball/soccer/tennis/motorsports I can and have figured out the basic shit. Don't cross the line of scrimmage before the snap, a hit is when the ball can't/isn't fielded before the runner reaches base barring an error, you can only fault twice before surrendering a point, there's an optimal line to drive in a race and every driver follows it.

Phil can't put any of that shit together, even when a game spells it out for him. I mentioned like 2 years ago in this same thread my love of the TIHYDP NHL17, because he bitched so hard about how he didn't understand the rules. The biggest issue he had was the offside rule (you can't cross the blue line into the opposing teams zone without possessing the puck, or the play is called dead) and couldn't figure out to wait at the line and not rush into the zone ahead of the puck. He never really learned it and it reached the point where he had to turn the rule off because it was too hard for him to figure out. He can never understand rules for some goddamn reason and it makes watching him play games that revolve around knowing those rules so funny to me cause shit that you get called on once, you shouldn't get called on again because you were doing it deliberately.

Can you imagine Phil playing one of those serious Simracing games like Assetto Corsa, it's successor or Heaven forbid rFactor 2? I doubt he would even manage to get past the first corner with his bad eyesight. Or trying to fiddle with the setup of any car.

The best TIHYDP is obviously the Make My Video video series (C+C, Kriss Kross, Marky Mark, etc.). I define “best” as pure unedited and unfiltered Phil being an ass. Those are Phil’s shining moments. I remember being in the process of moving and there I was in an empty house, alone, sitting in a small chair watching Tevin do a lets endure of it and it is rough to say the least. I watched the whole thing and thought, “did I really just sit here through a chuckle and a half of Phil white-rapping over instrumentals?” That’s all this “playthrough” is if you watch the entire series. The TIHYDP (or as the uploader titled it TIHYDS) is good in the sense that it’s unfathomable how Phil thought this content would appeal to his viewers.

This is the series where we got the hit toe tapper “take her virginity without permission, rip off her pants and get to your mission” as well as the follow up hit “I haven’t paid my taxes for years just like Wesley Snipes I’m going to jail!”

Whenever he plays a Forza, or a NFS I always want someone in chat to trick him into playing a GT or something. He would get so mad that he can't just smash his way through the other racers and that he can't just cut corners on the grass without taking time penalties.

Phil loves the rewind function in these new racing games. It's called "accessibility" so retards can enjoy the game too and win. How soon until the other sports games get this feature?

Oh, shit. Interception. I'll just rewind until the last play. Oh, I missed the goal. Rewind until I have the ball again.

Does anyone know if any of the Jackie Chin (I think that's the name) TIHYDPs are up? I've heard they're quite good but haven't seen any.
