OPs on Kiwifarms have gone through lots of changes over the course of its existence. From just giving a quick TLDR and linking a page to Encyclopedia Dramatica to extensive research with all needed archives, videos, and links
In this thread, I will highlight the best ones that I've stumble upon and want YOU to post your personal favorite and the reason why it's good

• Torswats thread by @Sprate Header is one of the most insane threads that have ever been made on Kiwifarms. Sprate guides you by the hand through this autistic rabbit hole of gayops Discord faggotry filled with "ironic" pedophiles. I would also like to remind you that he wrote and researched all of this by himself
• Baby Monkey Thread & Prostasia Foundation Thread by @easy. Prior to making these threads easy already made a thread on Sean Walker who is the infamous Chris Chan orbiter. Comparing this thread to his others you can really see the difference in quality. Easy has his own style which is best showcased in these 2 aforementioned threads, with his extremely extensive research, putting everything in a nice understandable way, and at the same time being entertaining. Fun Fact: I actually tried to copy his style for my Geometry Dash community thread but as you can see I pretty much failed at it
• Every thread that @Markass the Worst ever made. Yes, I mean it he has never made a bad OP in his entire life. Markass joined Farms in March of 2022 and has already made 5 OPs (Anti Car community | Sanctioned Suicide | Aella Martin | Daniel Micay | Hector Martin)on Kiwifarms which in itself is already impressive, but what's even more impressive is its quality. ALL HITS NO MISSES unlike one piece. Every single thread is made with an extreme amount of research and an amazing write-up, this is especially evident in what is in my opinion his best thread - Sanctioned Suicide.
• Global Depression 2022 by @contradiction of terns & UFO discussion thread by @Dogfacefuke are both amazing threads made on the Happenings subforum of Kiwifarms. I put them together because I love them for the exact same reason - highly informative and also open up interesting conversations

@Caverlock's OP on ONA's prize pig, Patrick Tomlinson, is both funny and informative, child.

@GenociderSyo's rundown of Hollie Dance. It's an excellent introduction to the only lolcow who can be described as an amateur necromancer.

The Russell Greer OP is a hilarious introduction to one of the most unusual cows on the site.

And I also like my OP on Jackie Singh. Hey, if you don't toot your own horn, someone else will use it as a spitoon

yeah lol the sean walker thread was a real odd-one-out. i wrote that one in a few hours, and i was a total newfag at the time, so i basically had no clue what i was doing. it was after that, when i personally befriended @HiramTheGrift that i figured i should put more effort into my writing for the farms. it was him who encouraged me to make the Baby Monkey thread.
i miss you hiram, pls come back.

I'd really like to mention @Spennychu who wrote the Animal/Dog Breeding Horrorshow thread. one of the best OPs i have read, about such a strange subject matter. this was the thread who's style inspired me the most for writing my own.

The best OP i have ever read though, is definitely the Sanctioned Suicide one mentioned above. I don't post there, because i find it a bit too sad, but Markass really handled the sheer nuance of it all with the kind of tact you almost never see. it's such a morally ambiguous story that it'd really be hard to try and tell it without somehow being too heavy handed. but he managed it. i don't think it's possible to write a better OP than his.
