It's a stripe on the base of his tail. Of course, that may be the only time it was seen, as Chris isn't good with continuity.

His closeups aren't too bad, esp. this one of Sailor Megtune.

I like the soulful eyes, though the fleshtones could use work. The poor dear looks like she has a sunburn....

I'm not saying "good pages" I'm saying "best pages."
There is a thread called "Worst Sonichu Pages" implying that not every page is equally bad. After all, "the worst" cannot exist without "the best" just like how light cannot exist without darkness. And since Chris's drawings are very inconsistent, some pages has to be better than others, right?

In other words: Even in real life, some shit smells less.

I like the cover of Sonichu 0. "Zap to the extreme" is not a terrible catchphrase for a comic character; shame it was never heard again.

Also, that Sailor Meg panel above reminded me: has Chris ever drawn a woman who doesn't look like a guy in drag?

It's hard to find anything to post principally because Sonichu is total shit through and through. Trying to find the best of something that is so objectively bad is not an easy task.

However, I did find this page in issue 0.

-Chris in the third panel almost looks like he's drawn normally.
-You can tell that the Jerkheif is meant to be a fat black guy at first glance as opposed to being some kind of indecipherable monster.

It's not great but I personally think the "SHOCK!" panel and the subsequent tard rage face are pretty hilarious.

Sure, this page is as crappy as any other, but I simply love how it looks like Chrissun has a case of projectile diarrhea!

I'm going to guess a good chunk of these are traces, but the fact that he actually put int the effort to include 18 characters and only two of them (Chloe and Blazebob in the box to the top left) are in an action pose, it's not too terrible. Granted Chris' standard disregard for porportion and composition are still present, but this one actually took some effort on his part.

For Chris' art it's not bad. It reminds me of how kids in my classes would draw anime age the age of 15. Maybe Chris should have done more portraits?
