Best game would be Star Wars Battlefront. The OG one. I put a lot of hours into that game, and still play it online today thanks to game ranger. The PC version's bots were actually intelligent enough to kill you, and the classes are well defined and easy to pick out in a crowd. While I played nearly every star wars game made in the 2000s, OG battlefront is the one I keep coming back to.
Worst game? Well, that would be Ace combat Assault Horizon. What an atrocity. After the holy trinity that was Shattered Skies, Unsung War, and Belkan War, Project Aces followed up with Fires of Liberation, which was good, expanding on gameplay for the first time since AC2, but it was only released on the 360, while every other title had been a PS, PS2, or PSP (int he case of ACX) exclusive, so the game didnt do well. Namco decided this was because of new fans not being able to adapt to strangereal, the world of AC, and decided the series had to take place on earth so gamers could acclimate easier (and yes, this is absolutely re.tarded).
The result was Assault horizon, which took place on earth, and was chock full of quick time events, cutscenes, and a fully voiced protagonist (all earlier games your voice/face were never seen). The gameplay was barely present, and the nature of previous titles was completely absent. And the PC version, which I own, was utterly unplayable, auto-defaulting to a 1366x768 resolution with non-bindable controls, unless you specifically had a 360 controller you were utterly fucked.
ACAH was so bad it nearly killed project aces. Thank god they learned their lesson with AC7: Skies Unknown.
