Better Call Saul

I'm not sure Chuck will die just yet, I can see Michael McKean getting some sweet Harvey Dent acting action for a bit, just to traumatise Jimmy a bit further. I will say the sequence where he's smashing up his house was one of the most unsettling things I've watched this year.

I also wonder if Gus will kill Nacho, he clearly knows what's going on.

I don't think Gus kills him. I think he is entirely onto the fact that Nacho doesn't care for Hector much and was trying to kill him. He even gave him this sidelong glance. Gus seems to agree with the general idea of killing Hector, but is pretty insistent that it not happen quite yet. As with Mike.

Pretty sure Nacho dies before the events of BB though.

I'm not sure it's a matter of when Hector dies primarily, I think it's just a case of Gus wanting to be the one to kill him when Hector is at his lowest or something.

I also wonder what other films Kim got for Relaxathon 2003, just because I'm sad. We know To Kill A Mockingbird, and one of the Monty Python films (my guess is The Holy Grail), but what about the other 7?

Gus wants to kill his entire family before he gets to die, then taunt him about it. We all remember how that ends for him.

Michael Mando who plays Nacho tweeted a card from Bob Odenkirk that said something like "thank you Michael, you were great in season 3, I hope flashbacks come early and come often" and then deleted it, this was at the midpoint of the season or so, and people were like "well nachos gonna die"

Turns out that card was pretty much for Michael McKean and Mando was just screwing with everyone. So yeah, Chuck is dead. They even posted a suicide hotline number in a repeat showing before the episode which clued me in that it was even an intentional suicide.

Who the fuck would doubt that Chuck didn't die. Nigga kicked an oil lamp on a hardwood floor with books piled everywhere. This isn't some kinda of ricin cigarette master stroke here

Chris Hardwick kept trying to pull "is he dead or not, who knows" right after which was hilarious. It's like if they cut the episode where Gus dies right as he adjusts his tie, there'd be the same idiots debating "they didn't show it so mayyyyyyyybe"

I love Chris Hardwick and I don't get why anyone hates him. He even called out Gould on the $800 thing. . .Saul only made $700 on that. Chris is sometimes accused of being a fake nerd. He isn't. He is an honest, living, breathing autist.

Following up from my previous take I sorta watched a bunch on cytube recently. I was expecting more "Saul's Wacky Lawyer Adventures" and less "Breaking Bad Year Zero Featuring Saul".

It's way more than that

and in a way, the crime aspect of the show is the least interesting one

Chris basically got Patrick Fabian to spill the beans on Chuck's fate, what with his "It was a great honor to work with Michael McKean" talk.

Also, does anyone else get the feeling that Kim might be pregnant? The way that she was looking at her calendar, as if to see if she'd missed her period, hinted towards that.

You don't think Chuck would have written him entirely out of the will? I wouldn't be surprised if he put shit in his will specifically to fuck Jimmy over after he was dead.
It would be a good twist if he does leave it to Jimmy along with a note that he cared for him all along, with Jimmy pissed that they never got to actually reconcile.

Or with all his knowledge of the law, the one aspect of it that Jimmy excelled in (Elder law and wills) is what fucked him over and he never got around to updating it. Unless Jimmy forges one...

That wouldn't be a good twist it would be a terrible one

The whole point of this show is how Jimmy broke bad, and a huge part of that is him not being an actually bad person, just one who thrives in the morally gray for the most part but still fundamentally good, and how he ended up being scumbag lawyer Saul Goodman who doesn't give a shit anymore and willing to help poison a kid

The most central part of all this is Chuck. Him saying 'I never really cared about you' and then killing himself is gonna be a major catalyst for change next season, he's got the name now he's becoming him
