It seems like mostly a modern bethesda game issue. Morrowind modding (based on what I've seen) is pretty chill compared to the constant full on sneed attacks skyrim modders have when someone asks a question or nexus does something they deem awful (like add mod collections). Skyrim modders (and by extension fallout 4) have such a massive ego, they think themselves superior to everyone for some reason. Combine that with discord trannies and the monopoly they have on any form of large scale mod (getting nexus to straight up ban people who release something that they have already 'claimed) and you get a degenerate shithole of nothing being done, while acting like they are the second coming of christ.

Watching this happen is like yandere simulator, nothing is ever going to come of it. While skyrim modders have a hissy fit every time bethesda updates the game, because script extender cant automatically correct itself or support previous versions properly, morrowind modders just wrote their entire own engine. Although I'm sure all of this has been said many times before.
Probably because the people working on Morrowind have been doings for decades and have literally mellowed out + grew up in a time where modding was something you did for fun not some kind of art form.

Amazing. I knew that this was going to happen eventually after that last Discord leak proved that at least one of the lead devs was a genuine schizo. I even warned some people of what was going on behind the scenes, but none of them wanted to admit that this project is doomed to fail.

I'm fucking dying. I've had a hate boner for modding teams for a long time, ever since I learned about Skyrim's kink modders shoving their mandatory thousand custom animations into Skyrim's already fucking wheezing porn engine and this is proof that these teams are basically a discord group full of loosely affiliated and highly dysfunctional mod makers.

Might be a hot take for some but the fact these people decide they want to make entire regions and not just do vertical slices ( I was recently blown the fuck away by the vigilant mod which is in reality like, a handful of dungeons and a bit of cold harbor) means they are just saying they don't want to get anything done. The fastest way I know someone at work isn't going to get shit done is when they bring up a long as process as if it'll take an afternoon.
Yeah and TR just came out with a huge new release a few days ago. Wtf have the Beyond Skyrim modders been doing? They've perpetually got their thumbs up their asses. It's pretty likely that TR will get the entire province of Morrowind done someday whereas it seems unlikely we'll ever see another Beyond Skyrim release at this point.

I really don't get what the fucking problem is. That one dude made Falskaar within like...two years? People tell me it's like a quarter to half the size of Skyrim and has like 20-30 hours of gameplay.

Especially hearing that a majority of the work just isn't that good, like shouldn't they have released *something* by now? Even that Atmora voyage which just sounds like a glorified dungeon.

It makes me think everyone is as schizo as this guy on the team.

morrowind is just short of three Thousand people, TR has added more people to Old EbonHeart than all of Vanilla Skyrim, and it is a single settlement
Even if BS was not tranny retard hour, it would take them at least four times longer to make a single province.

We need this dude to get together with Kirkbride so they can write the design documents for TES VI. Now that would be a true follow up to Morrowind in terms of sheer advancement of the western RPG genre.
Douglas Goodall and Ken Rolston did a lot of the quest design and particularly the faction quest (save the Imperial Legion that was done by Hodd Toward)
