We actually *have* a build of Shantae Advance now ...compiled for one of those horrible SunPlus u'nSP chips that we know dick all about.*
MAME might be able to help as it has partial emulation but nobody's got it working yet.

*Found this out after looking into VSmile homebrew. Those chips are surprisingly common for something so obscure. Thanks China.

Apperatetly there was a shantae plug,n play version of shantae advanced in development. I imagine the controller was just a pair of hips you'd have to swing.
