The giveaway for me was when he used the term “gang” when making his threats. It’s pretty much common knowledge that feds make liberal use of conspiracy and racketeering laws to go after their targets. Once they have evidence of illegal “gang” activity, they can get a warrant for everyone in the “gang,” and anything that arguably supports that activity can be treated as an “overt act” in furtherance of a conspiracy. So when Mike shows up out of nowhere in the middle of the AF honeypot, looking like a stereotypical skinhead, making “gang” threats, and hollering extreme sounding shit... I’m sorry, but this guy glows. He fucked his life up, and now he’s turning tricks for the federal government. What a bitch.

Without PLing, I disagree that this guy is an informant/asset/source. He lacked placement and access until he wormed his way in. Feds are going to use either sources motivated by loyalty to the government/law & order or with criminal activities/histories that they can use as leverage, and who have placement (proximity to information of interest) and access (ability to get to the information).

Now, if he has been up to some activities that interest the feds now that he has P&A they could use that as leverage and he could become a source but frankly I don't see why he would have popped up on their radar much prior to this.

The only thing I see of interest to the feds about AF is their suspect funding and adjacency to more popular & effective far-right groups. If Ralph's "I get paid regardless" income is part of that I guess his P&A to Ralph could be interesting to nail down the source of it, assuming Ralph's "I get paid regardless" income isn't from the feds.

Either way, Mike is unquestionably helping the federal government target that group. The only question is whether he's doing it as an asset or as a patsy. I lean toward the latter, for reasons I've stated ITT.

I’ll admit that I mention it fairly often, because usually, you wouldn’t see fairly well-adjusted people (at least, out in the open) in politics hitch their wagon to a group of blatantly obvious degenerates. But when you look at what partisan politics has become over the past twenty years, or longer really, it’s both sides trying to smear each other, and now, they perpetuate their own versions of gay ops. They either plant willing bad actors (or use idiots like Baked desperate to stay out of jail) inside the opposition, and since they are literal who’s or pieces of shit already, there is little to no collateral damage to their own image.
