Lolcow Bill Norton Olsen Code Red DVD - Plus David DeFalco Dark Force Entertainment.

I still remember hearing about Bills death as it happened and seeing DeFalco cry stream on Facebook. I just really enjoyed the fact he tortured people on blu-ray.com his business practices however....
I never bought anything during his lifetime for a reason! Expensive shoddy scans with no extras. Most of what you see in that pic was bought for 8$ a piece or less.
Walt was right. If Sage Stallone never died Bill would still be alive and not be riddled with terminal beetus cause we have no reason to think he'd cop him black market pharma or whatever it was Dave was getting him

@BrunoMattei If you still have a copy of the Walter Olsen Vimeo audio please post it here as it has been deleted off that site (probably by Dave)
I sadly no longer possess a copy. I heard through the grapevine that that site selling CR Blu's and hosted the Vimeo file was just a way for a close employee to get the word out on David and also sell the remaining stock of Blu-rays in a quasi-legal kind of way.

Reactions: The Cunting Death
Not much is happening except DeFalco somehow grabbed the rights to The Farmer (AKA Da Farmah!) assuming that the rights slipped through the cracks when Bill's brother Walter died because it was released through Walter's company Scorpion.

Confused? So am I.

My guess is that DeFalco either stole the rights or bought them cheap during a fire sale. Note how he continues Bill's legacy of shitting on other companies.

Dave's up to his old antics and this time he's being sued over the rights of the movie Just Before Dawn.

From what I gather from this rambling: Synapse AND Kino Lorber are suing Dave over the movie Just Before Dawn (which was put out on Blu in 2013 by Code Red) because Synapse sub-licensed the movie from Kino who now claim to own it and Dave is disputing this.

Dave reveals in this forum post that because of legal fees they will (supposedly) not be able to re-issue titles.

Dave's latest scheme is to package limited collector cards with 4K editions of Dah Farhmah. I doubt it will drum up any additional business for the movie.

Latest rant video: Dave surmises that Bill's brother Walt didn't own the rights to a movie (not sure which) and Kino Lorber is suing. Dave is asking the "Dark Force Army" to fight the lawyers to preserve physical media.

More activity than usual. There has been a 3rd amended complaint with the lawsuit. Dave claims that Walter Olsen owned Just Before Dawn and licensed it to Kino who then sub-licensed to Synapse. It turns out that Walt didn't own it and Walter couldn't indemnify his ownership and he was sued. Hence, the selling of the Code Red mansion for a million dollars to pay off the lawsuit. Dave has decided to challenge Kino Lorber's copyright over Just Before Dawn.

Dave offers Kino/Synapse an offer (he has liquidated assets to pay for this lawsuit) $100K to fight Synapse/Kino in a 5 minute wrestling match...

@AnOminous Has there ever been a lawsuit decided by a wrestling match?

Edit: he's still going:

Personally, I don't see how Just Before Dawn is worth all this trouble. It's a mediocre slasher. It's not worth millions of dollars.

He's just a moron seeking attention. There aren't many Dark Force titles worth picking up, let alone caring about proper restoration. The only interesting thing about Chaos is that Sage Stallone appears in it before he overdosed. Didn't Synapse have trouble releasing Thriller while Vinegar Syndrome put out their version? There was some drama a while back with Vinegar Syndrome telling retailers like Orbit and Grindhouse Video not to carry import titles of films they've released, and the guy who runs GV did a stream about it. This was over the UK region-free release of Cannibal! The Musical. The cult film boutique drama is both sad and amusing.
