I recently came across this image set on Tumblr, and it offers some really good reasons (one which I excluded because it’s spoiler-y) why the series has become so popular—and why, if you haven’t started watching it yet, you really should start.

Seriously, I mean that. It really is that good. You should start watching this series—like right now! The show regularly airs on Cartoon Network, with new episodes premiering on Thursday. It’s not currently on streaming services, but if you want to watch episodes on-line, you can find them on YouTube or Dailymotion (or, for a more illicit source, Watch Cartoons Online).

I can't help thinking of this MLP fic someone like that wrote about how Applejack's family was bullied by the mean ol' government for selling unpasteurized milk (here's the sporking). Despite standing their ground, Celestia took their farm away because they didn't want to make it safe. (Ponies were told, just to be more careful when drinking it.) I just can't help thinking of it when these kinds of Bronies are mentioned.

His main platform is deviantart, which has rules against using stock resources taken from google without credit.

BlameMyAutism here uses photos snatched from google image, types out a euphoric word-salad on them and posts them. When he's feeling more ambitious, he makes MS Paint comics using an art style stolen from Cyanide and Happiness.

This captain of industry uses photos he did not take, posts them without permission or crediting other people, steals entire art styles, and expects to be respected for this.

He's not an artist.

He's a parasite.

You make an astute point regarding the type of crap in his gallery.

Many of the obsessed political spergs I've seen on DA aren't very creative- they either violate the TOS by taking rage-comics, photos, screencaps, stuff they find on Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

They don't even use their own photographs.

Which makes me curious as to why they are even on an artwork website in the first place.

Hate to say it, but he kinda makes a good point here. If you don't make people vote, then you end up with the extremist ideologues voting, which means the world gets shittier.

That being said, I agree it's deliciously ironic he's telling people what to do while representing himself as a libertarian.

He's part of that branch of Libertarianism that's super elitist bordering on advocating a caste system. He sees himself as part of an enlightened secret society who are inherently better than the sheep. BlameMySpergers has nothing but contempt for anyone he views as lesser than him. He constantly insults and demeans everyone else and then whines when people return the favor because he thinks he is entitled to the respect he has not given anyone.
