Or you know, be like those gay conservatives who don't bring up stuff they know is shameful and no one really cares about?

Well what's ADF's stance on ponies? He's probably our best hope.We need something to counterbalance him, to create harmony.

Watch ponies, read Marx, serve your community. Das vadanya, componies.
It could vary. I mean, you could have liberal bronies and conservative bronies. Either way, they are both the same in being fans of a kids show, a show they can sperg about.Without the colon in the middle, the term "BlameThe1st:Libertarian Brony" can become unintentionally hilarious.
But really, do bronies tend to gravitate towards certain ideologies and beliefs, or does it vary?
That is blasphemy. Everyone knows these ponies are tools of CAPITALISM.We need something to counterbalance him, to create harmony.

He'll probably think they are all proud genderqueer trans-womyn who fight against any patriarchy.Well what's ADF's stance on ponies? He's probably our best hope.
Holy crap, I just realized how many mlp villains are men...He'll probably think they are all proud genderqueer trans-womyn who fight against any patriarchy.

That sounds like my own personal hell.Anyway, I actually know two conservative bronies, twins, in fact. One is kind of an asshole tbh, and the other is surprisingly cultured and tolerable. They be all like: "Rarity is the best pony, and Obama is the worst president."
Holy shit I remember this guy. He at least at one point used to refer to people who disagreed with him as "moonbats." He also had a giant list of "people who made him lose faith in humanity" on his deviantart page. He might be past prime lolcow days, but the fact that he thinks his opinions are important enough to put such a massive volume of them on the internet suggests a good combination of ego, stupidity, and lack of a filter.
This shouldn't be surprising, not when there was mention of some German Pirate Party having bronies in it along with a nationalist brony who posted his own ramblings on Tumblr. Politics itself doesn't need fandom spergs coming in(unless of course, it's just to bring in laughs when the spaghetti is dropped).A Brony... in Polotics?

This guy reminds me of Jay Naylor, a conservative furry who tried to reconcile his far-right, Objectivist neocon ideals with his career in furry porn. The results were mixed, by which I mean "what the fuck even was that?"

You know, I've heard of conservative furries and bronies but I've never heard of a libertarian brony. Letting politics and weird interests mix never ends well.
I think there are a few libertarian (or at least left-libertarian) bronies. It's easier to reconcile, anyway, because social liberals are more likely to accept deviants like a grown man who watches little girls' cartoons.
Big understatement, esp. if you include """libertarians"""I think there are a few libertarian (or at least left-libertarian) bronies. It's easier to reconcile, anyway, because social liberals are more likely to accept deviants like a grown man who watches little girls' cartoons.
Bear with me, as I know next to nothing about politics - but inferring that 'libertarians' (?) and conservatives aren't the same, your second suggestion doesn't quite click to me.Yeah, I agree, its always confusing when someone holds a conservative ideology but is also a fan of something weird and unconservative. My guess is that this guy just calls himself a libertarian to look cool without taking the time to understand what its actually about. That or his parents were conservatives and it rubbed off on him one way or another.
http://blamethe1st.deviantart.com/gallery/?catpath=/&q=moonbat There's probably more in his journals and blog, dude seems to absolutely love the word and uses it in a serious context. The only time I've ever heard anybody use "moonbat" was in the earlier days of the Colbert Report.
Depends on whether he's still active or not. Probably has some funny shit that would fit well in this thread though.OT a bit but I would love a Naylor thread.
