I remember being a Portuguese ERASMUS student at Manchester. Such wonderful times and good memories, and besides historical reasons, one of the reasons I have nothing but love for Albion, even with all the bullshit going on over there (or anywhere else, if we want to get serious about it).

I used to go to a place called Salford Lads' Club in Larford. The club was filled with wonderful people who had a deep appreciation for life. There I met Shawn, an old lad whose advice for any hard times in life would be "some pints and a shag." That still holds up until today. THANK YOU, SHAWN. I'll always remember you. On Friday, I would go from Manchester to Liverpool, just to further get fucked on pints and scotch.

Bring on the autistic, dumb, and moyai reactions, but I love Britain. Overall, the people there are lovely, and I've met some of the most intriguing women ever.

GOD bless you all.

I remember four guys from the Salford Lads Club who told me shyness and coyness are nice, but they'll stop you from doing all the things in life you'd like to

Being from mostly Irish extraction, Britain holds a very sore spot in my soul. However, when I've been over there, it has been nothing but a great time

This is Lieutenant Colonel Stanislav Petrov.

You might never have heard of him, but you might just be alive because of him.

A warning system mistakenly reported the US's launch of ballistic missiles in 1983, which prompted the USSR to prepare for a counterstrike and almost resulted in nuclear war. Petrov was the person who remained calm and recognized that the system had malfunctioned, subsequently alerting his superiors and saving millions or even billions of lives.

He passed away in 2017, at the age of 77. May he rest in peace, and may we never forget him as the human being that saved millions of souls.

Спасибо, товарищ Петров. Пусть земля тебе будет пухом. Мы тебя никогда не забудем.
