I don't like how much blank space there is up top, nor that the themes (which you'll barely ever touch) have been shoved inbetween the alerts and search bar, which you use all the time.
It's just in the way, don't you think? Also, why is my name cut off despite all that free space up there?

My recommendation, tuck the theme button away between the kiwi logo and the forums button.
Out of the way, but still in a place everyone will see frequently, and probably wonder what it does.

Names displayed properly, no wasted space, background comics more visible.

YESSSS a pink theme please. I made an example of one using better discord but I'm not a huge fan of my final result (there seems to be too much magenta and not enough contrast). I think with a bit of tweaking though it could be a really cute barbie or mymelody type of theme. Idc if anyone thinks this is autistic, I want my favorite gossip site to look cute on my monitor.

Maybe a lighter pink or one that uses the Barbie hex codes specifically. I think certain greens and purples juxtapose nicely with pinks as accent colors.

I’m already to where I barely notice that anything had broken on the dark theme.

I’m trying the dark high contrast theme right now (it’s giving me old BBS vibes and I like it) but I’m going to have to make my pfp even blacker and more gorilla like to match it.

Only thing I didn’t like was the brief period where quotes.txt appeared at the top navigation (above my pfp, notifications menu etc) rather than in the header underneath all those where it was. It caused left right scrolling on mobile and assume it was a mistake or you already know because that’s gone again.

Would it be possible to add a user option that disables gif avatars being shown?
I currently block them using uBlock by hand because the animation playing in my peripheral vision on a second screen is annoying, but I do not want to blanket disable them because sometimes gif are posted as actual content.
