Dark mode makes it hard to see what posts are new when you click on the alert button. Didn't used to be an issue before, and it is not an issue in light mode.
I've attempted to upload a 5.0 mb, 400 by 600 pixel gif as my profile picture yesterday and today. It hasn't worked at all.
Before the maintenance, I could upload 12 mb gifs as a profile picture without issue.
Not sure what the issue is here.
If you've just edited the coloration of unread posts in notifications, thank you as the new colors are much more readable. However, I think you've flipped them around and made it highlight read posts while darkening unread posts. If I get another notification I'll see if I can update this post with an image.
EDIT: The top post is unread, while the other two are already read. I do not think this is correct. Might also be placebo but it seems like the image quality of thumbnailed images is a lot worse than before, I don't remember my screenshots being this crunchy.
The moon (dark/light theme) icon is a completely different size and color than the other two icons next to it and it's driving me crazy. I feel like switching genders everytime I look at it.
By the way, can we get rid of the comic book background and go back to just a flat color? No offense meant to the artists, but I'm a bit tired of "FAT CUNT" permanently affixed to the background.
You can disable the background somewhat by making the gray content fill the entire window.
Click the "Change Width" button on the bottom left of the page, its next to the style chooser.
It gets changed from this:
To This.
Much easier to read imo.
Or if you are super serious add the following to your uBlock blacklist, It will default to a kiwifarms gray.
One time there was a bank HQ that's internal intranet sharepoint theme got switched to a custom built hotdog stand theme on april fools day. And I won't go beyond that any further with any other details.
By any chance would it be possible to make the header span the full width of the page regardless of what the width setting is like before and also have it attached to the actual top of the page? I think it stylistically looks a lot better.
Interestingly enough depending on zoom size it does actually go back to what it used to look like.
Giving the buttons on the right a background and a border while not highlighted would also be pretty cool instead of them blending in with the background.
