No one has a long term solution aside from the few that thought it over. The ones thrown around tend to be "The community can police itself" (this is how lynching starts) and "Send in therapists!" (which is a great way to get a lot of people killed by a guy who gets his sociopathic jollies from killing or robbing people). I bend left but Jesus, can't we just have reform and proper training funding?

Aww, thanks! Pacing is something that isn't always clear cut, but stepping back and blocking out panels is sometimes the best thing you can do.

All their replies from the past month or more are like this specifically to @blobbyandfriends and general furry shitposting. It's like they got bored of shit tier hornyposting and moved on to logging on once a week to call someone fat and gay, but in the unfunny furry attentionwhore way.

I think people have voiced this in different words, but I don't think the comic is always as tone-deaf. In my opinion, they get something right when they talk about identity issues and stigma, e.g. "isn't that too girly for you" when it comes to something as trivial as a graphic t-shirt, the "you should be more like your sister" comic (to an extent) etc. They just have shit takes on societal level issues (there are exceptions, such as the male domestic abuse comic) and I don't understand why it's always the lefties' way to go to threaten injustice with violence, especially when they start to assume another individual's intentions as trying to be offending. Also, serious "overexaggerating situation syndrome", obviously.

I did check their Twitter, and I think the newer comics have turned more tame not cringe-inducing, while I don't necessarily find it funny or entertaining. They didn't advocate for violence anymore either.* I also like the new Punk Kid.

Alright, but ANYTHING BUT THE LAST PANEL. Because yes, it was very much called for threaten this woman with violence. Of course, without a punchline there would be no comic, but was violence really a comic relief or a punchline to these people?


Blobby comes off as emotionless, sour and arrogant, but Blobby may be sometimes understanding. Although in both cases the wording may come off as being condescending. People don't like to be babied and hushed.

I did check their Twitter, and I think the newer comics have turned more tame not cringe-inducing, while I don't necessarily find it funny or entertaining.

I think some of the messages are genuinely good (don't ignore abuse regardless of gender, friends are cool, it's ok to be gender nonconformist, rainbow capitalism sucks, all races are human, etc.) but the comic itself tends to deliver them stilted, clumsily, or too hard with no funny or entertainment value. I really hate to say it, but half the time I keep thinking of Jack Chick's Chick Tracts since these have a similar "tell don't show" with a world with random assholes and the occasional easy conversion.

Blobbynfriendsbutnotretarded is the "anti" Blobbynfriends , but judging by the behavior and some of the posts, the admin of this account seems to be a little retarded in their own right.

Also, there's hate towards " violetcookie " as well. No idea who that is.

They can draw, but they're behind on their art skills compared to the artist for blobart.

Blobby and friends was made by someone with obvious technical skills who you can tell went to art school. The problem is you can also tell the artist is LAZY. Perspective when tried is usually correct, their color palettes are pleasing, their proportions are right... but a lot of it is half assed. Everything has been simplified to the point of being uninteresting. Blobby feels like he is made by the shape tool alone, along with the blue girl's hair. Character designs are boring. Lines have little weight to them to make them more interesting. Backgrounds are occassionally done and mostly half assed. Some things have more detail than others, and not because of focus or perspective related reasons.

The art featured on Nectaart isn't perfect, but you can tell the artist(s) who made it are giving a good try and could improve in the future. The art for blobby is technically better, but lacks passion and has given the fuck up. This is the slop of comics.
