I found some more of their old comics

As someone who looks 'exotic' for where I live (mostly white people, most of my family are darker in skin due to South-East Asian genetics), I have had similar questions and I answer them like a sane person by explaining that, not by dumping my drink on them and being just as much (if not more of) an asshole.

You are doing it wrong then. Dumping your drink is the mature response here. And if you don't have a drink, physically assaulting them some other way is just as reasonable.

Well, you are not dangerhair with hallucinations of mangled corpse of deap sea fish come to life. At least I hope you are not

It's also often a poorly worded question regarding your ethnic heritage. It's harmless conversation and I can't recall a time it's ever gotten weird as long as I was chill. People are curious if you're different, not just from the immediate community but from them personally. Imo it shows more empathy than being disinterested because you're pretending everyone is made of the same globohomo blob. Anecdotally, I've found the people who get the most offended you assume they're 'not from America' are also much more likely to be anti-American, and hyper-focused on their ethnic background while making no effort to actually learn about it.

The most normal question that I have been asked is "Are you mixed?"
Again, the creators of this comic must not interact with other people other than themselves; fuck there's a YouTube video tutorial for writers that states to eavesdrop on other's conversation to help with dialogue.

Really, it's just a converstation starter when dealing with a racial group with a lot more cultural variety than white or black Americans, and it really does feel that the people that get offended are often disconnected bugmen that don't like being reminded that they aren't the proud [insert Asian nationality] they act like they are, especially those that came over back in the 19th century and assimilated. It's actually hilarious watching people whose ancestors left China for the American Dream suddenly decide to turn themselves into Xi's greatest cocksuckers because they nominally share the same ethnic background.

I'm being a little pedantic but even within States there are various local cultures that bind people together. Rejecting that is effectively failing to integrate and then nobody is happy, but these people never move somewhere right for them and rage everyone else is the problem. White and black heritages can be rich and interesting too and I like whites telling me where their ancestors came from just as much as southern blacks with stories about their heritage. Imo we should be 'American' before everything else, but ironically diversity has decayed this concept. The schism is fascinating but I wholly blame ID politics for the mentally and emotionally unstable mindset of rootless shit stirrers.
Anyway, Blobby is not cute and unworthy of being made into fish and chips.

It tkaes THREE people to make this garbage? Almost all of the strips are in the exact same cadence:
1. Designated straw-man tells one of the stunning and brave main characters that they look/act like a faggot.
2. The stunning and brave main character goes "umm, uhh, well I..." In a soy-induced stuttering spree.
3. Rotting fish carcass threatens wacky violence on aforementioned straw-man.

One person for each point.
