Speaking of Jack Chick, it makes me wonder how Blobby's creative team would've handled one of Chick's more infamous comics, Lisa. Which is about a little girl who gets molested by her dad, passed around by his friends, and she gets a VD. Because the dad discovers Jesus, his wife forgives him and doesn't press charges and everything is supposed to be alright.

The exact same, only the dad troons out instead of finding Jesus.

It's not a bad sentiment, but it's said by characters I'd rather not be family with. As usual this could be made better by cutting this goddamn thing in half, just the first and the last panel.

I think you're just noticing it. Companies have decided to be sensitive to it since it's a really cheap way to score empathy points with people. Many more people are stuck with moms than dads, whether it's men leaving or dying early, so the same isn't done for mother's day.


Anyway, wish your father a good day and tell him you love him if you still got a father you love. If not, piss on his grave like a true kiwi.

Normal guy trying to start a friendly and semi-romantic conversation with a Japanese girl is bad when you’re white. Of course, the mangled fish corpse and his dumpy mystery-meat Asian chauffeur can't stand the sight of white men liking Asian women, so they turned it into a story about holding up a drive-through to annoy a worker.
