It's cyclic I'm guessing. Back in the day it was church moms doing this, before that it was general radical pastors and moral busybodies.

And this comic is for those who just want a cheap confirmation of their beliefs in a little feel good easy to digest package. You hit the nail on the head, it's very insular and their audience might fade away within the decade.

I think it was mentioned before in this thread; that this content seems specifically designed in a way to offend the least amount of people physically possible. It's actually a really great observation to make.

For example, in a lot of these comics, the "problematic" character will be brown and/or female, rather than the typical blonde-haired, blue eyed evil white man caricature a lot of similar comics and media will go for. Of course, here and there they'll pull one of those, which is to be expected, but I can give them props for their empathy and understanding of the colorful and diverse bigot community.

It shows at least a bit of self-awareness on their part, that they're willing to empathize and understand to some extent how people will feel if they just see the caricature of a nasty mean straight/cis/etc. white guy being shoved down their throat 24/7. By using a diverse cast of characters to fill the "bigot/problematic person" role, they increase the likelihood that a straight/cis/white male/person/etc. will not feel directly attacked and alienated by the content.

Obviously the comics are still, as a whole, asinine garbage. But, at the very least, I'm willing to hand them some credit for that small part.

Buck does the impossible supernatural feat of taking care of himself. Combined with very little drama I never call him a troon for this reason. His pectorals look strangely spaced but I'd put it down to birth if I didn't know better.

I may shit on lots of trans community people on this site, but there's enough out there who don't stir shit or don't deserve it.

There's still attempts to cancel him since he's honest about the health problems related to hormones and surgery, enforcing you actually need dysphoria and that most will detransition with therapy, and being against trooning kids. There's also an older MtF who says AGP is real and needs to be acknowledged because self-ID is extremely dangerous, especially because they violate private gendered spaces, also against transing kids. It's surreal to see 'queer' allies be the attack dogs of troons, going after people that actually made the effort to live genuinely.

They want to cancel Blaire White for the exact same reasons as Buck. Well that and she’s a trans person that DARES stray to the right. It seems like transtrenders heavily outnumber legit transgenders nowadays and it’s sad.
