What NFT Games

NFT games are scams. All of them. 100% certain.

How it works, a guilable sucker gives the game money to buy some 'virtual property'. The virtual property has 'virtual resources' that increase the virtual property and your virtual investments exponentially.

Often, idiots are suckered into investing NFT games with the promise of huge $$$ gains, so you better buy now when they're cheap. They also promise they will build a super duper ultra inclusive openworld like the Matrix or Ready Player One's (I shit you not, people believe this!) and put together footage of free unity assets to prove work is being done.

You can put money in, but the scam comes when you can't take them out. Sure your 100$ investment turned into 1000000$, but that money ain't ever gonna see the real world.

Earth 2.0

You probably heard of this shit, it's the reason this exist and the Blockchain MMOs are a trend.

Earth 2.0 promises it will make a virtual world where every user can buy land and it's all the genres in the universe! Just wait and see, and invest!

no, actually, i've never heard of any of this shit.

the apparent centralized control of these plot transactions doesn't sound very blockchain to me, friend.

I've heard some gaming youtubers talking about how it's a scam (and it really is). The funny thing is that if a company with a huge IP like Bethesda pulls the same shit in a Skyrim remake they'll probably rake billions and make for a decent crypto currency (for investment of course).

Most of them are being made in Unity, have no actual intention of ever becoming a full game, and drop some "demo" that seems whipped together in a few hours. Honestly, with how similar they all are, I have a feeling they're being made by the same teams under different names. The idea quickly falls apart when you realize how it'd be botted to hell and back, or at the very least, Chinese farmed to hell and back, ruining any sense of being a real "game"

I also don't see people being able to get into something that they feel has real money riding on it, you're going to play much differently even if you don't need the money. Would quite literally feel like a job.

The hell is blockchain MMO's even?
A misnomer. They're basically selling you virtual real estate, as in you buy a plot of land for real money in an MMO that might exist in the future. It's not a blockchain because every transaction is managed by the companies organizing these things, not a blockchain. And by managed, I mean they take a cut out of every single transaction and ensure that the only person who can't lose in this deal is themselves.

Earth 2 is definitely a scam and if you lose money you are very much deserving of your loss.

Earth 2 is basically just Star Citizen but for people who also want to get rich quick. At least this time it probably won't last for years.

Basically, it's a vaporwave. Hell, i thought they're implementing their fancy tech to make new kind of MMO's.
